Nice’s Family Diner

Another bad experience. I said I would not come back to Nice’s but my friends wanted to go. Waitress spilt orange juice on us right off the bat so we moved to a different table, same waitress. Our newspaper is ruined, my friends pink shirt is stained, and i have orange juice in my purse. Food was decent enough, hot and tasty (sharp contrast to the last time I went) but a bit slow. We go to pay and they dont offer any discount. So I ask if they can offer anything and replace the paper. She talks to the manager (I assume) and says theyll take the orange juices off. Still doesnt help the fact that we have to go home and change clothes and get a new paper and my friends pink shirt has a large orange stain on the front. So I ask if they can at least replace the paper. She goes back to the manager and offers $ 2 for the paper (we just bought it across the road, $ 3). To top it off she doesnt seem the least bit apologetic and we didnt get to actually see the manager. At least I didnt get more in my purse, if it had gotten all over my anything else I would’ve been pretty upset.
Back to my original plan of not bothering with considering that place.
