Randy’s Floor Covering

Randy and his son came out to retack the carpet down around a small area of tile at our entry and fireplace that we recently installed. He had not quoted me a price on the phone prior to his visit. They started in immediately dissing on the tile job and this and that wasn t right. They didn t want to do the work to make it right. They dissed on previous professional carpet installing. They didn t listen to me repeatedly telling them we had done the job ourselves. Scolded me because I hadn t answered his question over the phone of whether there was a good wall at the edge of the tiles. Accused me of arguing and stomped out talking loudly as they left in their beat up van about me and the job. I wouldn t have hired them at any price! They could have said politely, «This isn’t a job we are equipped to do» and left politely.
