The cutie-patootie girl behind the counter made the whole experience worth it. Look me up girl!

Great service! I believe this is a family owned business. They had every condiment imaginable… even captain crunch! The food was great. The menu was simple. The staff were friendly.

Wide variety of toppings/sauces, and a variety of sodas available. The food menu itself is pretty limited. The dogs were good, but not great– the CBS was rather greasy, and the buns were nothing special. We enjoyed trying different sauces and toppings though. The tornado fry was tasty but not as crispy as expected. Not a bad lunch spot, but could stand to be a little cheaper.

We stopped in there the other night the guy was very friendly, BUT the food was okay, it wasn’t that very busy we were the only people in there the staff was sitting in the back kitchen area sitting down. very unprofessional in my opinion. You know what would make your dawgs better put them on the grill and toast them.

This place knows hot dogs! Nowhere else in Salem are you going to get a gourmet hot dog of this quality. Curtis the owner is super cool and fun to talk to, swing by and check it out. You won’t regret it, from the selection of dogs to the condiment bar to the selection of classic sodas, you can’t go wrong! Reasonably priced and delicious!

My first visit and it was great ! If it comes on a dawg it here! There’s a wide variety of condiments to pick from. Grab your dawg and start adding. Sauces include several mustards, red sauces, chili, stand bys like Chinese Chile sauce, hot sauces and more. Move over to the next station and it’s on! From sauerkraut and ice cold pickle spears to onions and jalapeños. And everything in between. Not enough for you yet? Well grab one of your favorite old school sodas and a tornado fry. Still not enough? Finish with a cookie, what more is there to want? Nothing cause you’ve had it all. You won’t walk away hungry. See you there soon!

Yummy! I love Roxy dogs and love that they are in Salem now and we don’t have to drive to Corvallis to park across the street from some frat house get our hot dogs. But the condiment bar is always fun. The tornado fries can some times be burnt but beyond that the food is amazing!

Top taste dogs, nice flip on the fries idea, and the staff were totally friendly and relaxed.

We went on National Hotdog Day, to celebrate. Most of the hotdogs were on sale for 3.00, regularly 5.75 Nice that they were also celebrating the holiday. I had the Birddawg, a chicken — apple sausage on the standard bun and my companion the Original Roxy Dawg, a ¼ lb beef sausage on a standard bun. They also have glutten free, whole wheat and poppy seed available. We added an order of Tornado fries. The Tornado fries are a weird hybrid of a potato chip and curly fries, totally lacking the charm or yumminess of either. They come on a skewer and taste sort of like burnt cardboard smells. They have baked potatoes on the menu and that might be a better option if you want some potatoes. No actual fries of any kind are offered. The sausages were pretty good, grilled and served on fresh big buns, but the first thought we had was how overpriced they would be at 5.75 a pop. As another reviewer noted, they are similar to Costco hotdogs. I would not be at all surprised if they are actually purchased from Costco. The condiment bar elevates things a notch or two. There is a nice assortment of sauces and relishes etc They must have purchased their dining chairs and tables from the super budget section of the restaurant catalogue. The chairs are rickety and make a horrible fingernails-on-chalkboard sound everytime someone moves one at all, which is really unpleasant after a few minutes in the dining room. Not a good value for the money.

I really liked this place. It’s in the old Church Pizza spot. The staff was friendly and patient with taking my family’s order, as my little ones were indecisive. We especially liked the condiment bar and enjoyed trying different things on our dogs. I ordered the polish sausage with blue cheese and bacon. Topped it with banana peppers and dipped in ranch. Kids really enjoyed the cookie dog and the tornado fries. An added bonus is the drinks. They offer not only fountain sodas but bottled as well for the same price. The variety was refreshing which included Mexican Coke to cane sugar sodas and ginger beer. We will be back!

Not impressed. I paid $ 5.75 for an overcooked hot dog on a stale bun, when I could have paid $ 1.50 for a far superior version at Costco that would have included a beverage. It wasnt horrible, but it definitely wasn’t worth the cost. I guess prices are so high because you’re really paying for food and a show since we were forced to watch the staff’s behinds hanging out the back of their short shorts while we ate. It felt like we were at bikini barrista. Won’t be back.

Service was really really slow. The people next to us got skipped. And the tornado fries were horrible. We will not be returning here again. Not to mention everything came separate. Let’s just say everyone was eating at different times. Staff was nice and apologetic. Poor girls were working alone only two of them! Maybe that’s why it was bad. Get more help!

My only regret after coming to Roxy Dawgs is not knowing about this place sooner! I came in for lunch today with my friend and the staff was so friendly! They were very helpful since it was our first time and provided great customer service! I love the vibes in this place! There are so many toppings, with endless condiments and a variety of sauces(chipotle mayo: YUM!) The tornado fries were so good with the seasoning! I got the BCS dog and it was phenomenal. I am such a fan of gourmet hot dogs and this place definitely met and went above and beyond my expectations!

Had the daily dog meal deal which is a dog, chips and a drink for 6 bucks. Also had the tornado fries. Very good lunch. The staff was very fast and friendly. Place was spotless and bright. Will be coming back soon.

Well let’s just say there’s another dog in town. The Stadium rolls are fair at best. They are using some made-up generic sausage. A Coney Island hot dog is a lot different then a Chicago dog. You can’t use for both but they do. The salad bar setup for making your own dogs is nice. That is only one of the nice features here. Something sorry to say but I won’t be back here again. Casey’s had it all over this. Too bad they went out of business by choice. All show with no go here. Someone always finds a way to mess up a simple concept. And this is it.

Walked in mid-afternoon on Saturday. There was one other patron. I ordered two dogs and it took 17 minutes(they print the order time on your call-slip) for a crew of at least four people to put two dogs on two buns and hand them to me. They really need to work on service speed. Good things: – Good selection of sausages – Astounding topping bar(I counted seven mustards) – Pleasant employees – Great selection of soft drinks Poor things: – Service speed(see above) – Buns had no character, were very soft, and became soggy from the toppings – Price. I have trouble with $ 5.50(and up) for a ¼ pound hot dog wrapped in foil – Did I mention really slow service? I did? Moving on… I really miss Casey’s Hot Dogs. I loved their Chicago dog, and I wouldn’t be complaining about price and service speed if the dog(dawg) at Roxy was as good as Casey’s — but it isn’t. Casey’s also played better music and would serve you a beer. Sigh.

Swamped at noon and had to wait 25 minutes for two of the best dogs we have had for a while. Great selection of toppings you add yourself. The ¼ lb. with chili, onions and cheese was very good. The chicken dog was even better. The tornado fry was very good, a little more crisp would be more to my liking. We will be back to try some other dogs.
