I eat here about 3 days a week. Breakfast, lunch. Sometimes grab lentil soup for dinner to bring home to fam. I love the people here. They’re really nice. The cook is the nicest one. I can’t imagine the reviewer(danp) is talking about the same cook. But if someone did that to me I would give one star and a bad review too. I haven’t eaten at Lees in gloucester for 15 years for being snubbed similarly. Still, I love this place for food. Ambience? Meh. One star but who cares? It is for the people in the building. And it is what it is. But… Consistent, sort of like a mini brothers deli with a Salvadoran bent if you want it.(Ask for salt if you do take away) Deli house across the street is awesome, too. The guy there totally cares about his product even tho it is just a cheap pizza joint.

I went in the other day for some breakfast. I have eaten there a few times and it has always been good. Initially everyone was pleasant but when I went back to have my order corrected, that’s when everything took a terrible turn. I had placed my order with the cashier since the cook was out back somewhere. She relayed the order verbally, which is where I think something went wrong. I took my food to go. When I got back to my office I realized it was wrong. Seeing no big deal I went back to ask for them to correct it. The cook said«are you serious? No you ordered xyz». Incredibly rude cook, the cashier just kinda stood there and said«umm, umm». Wont’t be going there again. I’d rather walk in the rain across the street than to keep going here.
