Heather is the owner at Salon Gorgeous. She does a great job at doing the hair cut you want. She is personable and really listens to how you want your hair cut. That does not always happen at other salons. I highly recommend her.

My hair was cut by the owner/​manager. It wasn’t a bad cut but the experience wasn’t great. She seemed distracted and kept chatting with her employees about preparing a room for another persons package event. I felt like I was a chore not a client. I was literally rushed in and out in under 15 min.

Cheri Harmon at Salon Gorgeous has been doing my hair for 6 years now she is the most amazing hairdresser I have ever came across. She brings my dark brown hair to a flawless platinum blonde and is an expert on keratin extensions leaving my hair looking better than Barbie when she is done with me. Not only does she have an amazing personality that gets me excited to chat with her while my hair is being transformed but she had also boosted my confidence in a way that no body else could possibly do! Salon gorgeous is such a relaxing, beautiful salon with such a great staff of happy friendly highly artistic and educated stylists! I would never go anywhere else and will follow Cheri until the day I die!

I found this place because my regular hairstylist used to be at Elite Salon, but they shut down, so she is here now. She is amazing. The first time I went to her about 2 ½ years ago was purely by accident. I had gone from Keizer and stopped at literally any hair place along the way until I found that one. They were closing soon, but I really needed a haircut, and Elisabeth agreed to cut mine. I had a small idea what I wanted, but since I’d never been to a stylist before, couldn’t explain it well. Well, a shampoo, and an hour after closing time later, I absolutely loved my new hairstyle. Everyone I knew said how good it looked and what a great job she did. Well I ended up moving to LA a few months later, but I always schedule my appointments with her whenever I’m in town (usually every few months). She is a great stylist and really listens to what you want and knows what will look good on you.
Now a little about this salon. It has a good amount of parking (it is across from South Salem Wal-​Mart), and a nice clean facility. I love the fact that you don’t have to get up and go to a hair washing station then come back. All you do is sit in the chair, they turn you around, and lift up the «counter» and wash your hair right there. Then you turn back around, the counter piece is put down, and its back to a hair cutting station. It definitely makes it really nice and convenient.
I will definitely keep coming back here because it isn’t too loud and so it is nice and relaxing and probably has some other great stylists, but I really recommend Elisabeth

This review is only about one of the hair stylists, Angela. While Angela is only there a limited amount of time, Tuesdays and Thursday, she is the best colorist I have ever had and worth the month it takes to get an appointment. She literally works wonders with color, and can make almost any color look natural. The highlights weren’t too chunky and blended in nicely with my natural hair color, so much so that my roots were unnoticeable after months of neglect. While I didn’t go crazy with my hair color, I lightened up several shades. For haircuts, I’m personally a fan of Toni and Guy styles, but my last hair cut was great, and exactly what I was looking for. I can’t recommend her enough for any styling needs you might have.
