My family LOVED the Reuben, the fish tacos, and the burgers!!! We will definitely be returning! Delicious food — hidden gem!

Best fish fry in the area. The food is great and the staff is nice. The place is tiny though so don’t expect to go with a group of more than 4 – 6 and get seating. Very popular place, on a Friday evening the wait is usually at least 35 minutes.

Amazing reuben sandwich, great service. They let me bring my dog on patio. Will definitely be back!

This is a great place for a small group of friends, anything over 8 and you might not have room to eat together. The place has a good mix of people but typically holds a younger crowd where everyone is pretty good, no trouble makers. Good drink selection and good service. The Reuben sandwiches make this place a gem, big and filling but no sacrifice to quality. They are simply amazing. Highly recommend.

Went on a Friday with my wife. This was our first visit. We planned on doing a fish fry but I had to get the Reuben to see what all the fuss is about. The Reuben is huge! With nice chunks of meat, plenty of sauce and kraut. The marble rye holds holds this bad boy together nicely. Definitely the best Reuben I’ve ever tasted. My wife got the cod fish fry. The pieces of fish were decent size with a nice cornmeal breading which I prefer to battered fish. Breading was crispy, not oily. Both the fries and sweet potato fries were good. Service was great! The menu has something for everyone. Looking forward to stopping by again.

First time here, loved it! The bar and seating are not big but there is a very friendly feel to it. We got a seat at the bar waiting for our table and then the bartender offered for us to eat there. We took her up on it, she was very friendly and attentive. I got the cod fish fry and my husband got the Reuben. Both were amazing. It was by far the best fried cod I have ever had and he said the same about the Reuben. I upgraded a buck to the sweet potato fries and they were great. Drinks were reasonable. I got a Cabernet and he got a tall beer and it was under $ 10. Great place. I will be back!

FINALLY got to visit Sieberts during a recent visit to Wisconsin! It was not too busy on NYE weekend, which was nice as we quickly were seated. We found a nice, cozy spot away from the cold outside and ordered. I had a Spotted Cow beer since I enjoy them while in Wisconsin and a burger. The food was quite tasty(as was the beer). The burger was juicy and delicious and a nice size. Service was really friendly and didn’t rush us or take too long. You can tell there were lots of regulars in there, but they treated us just the same as if we had been there a million times before(instead of it being our first visit). Prices were quite reasonable as well. A nice, cozy spot that allows you to step away from any chain restaurants with friendly service, great prices, and tasty food(oh — and their bathrooms were clean and updated… sometimes older spots have slightly dismal bathrooms…). Worth a visit! I can’t wait to go back!

Their Rueben’s are fresh and the corned beef is made in house. Big chunks of meat, kraut, cheese, and sauce. Wait! I forgot to mention the marble rye bread! This is one hefty monster of a delicious sandwich. I felt like a pig eating it, but I couldn’t stop! It was good! I had sweet potato fries with it, they were crispy and tender on the inside. We also tried the wild mushroom. Bruschetta that was good.

Found this place in the summer. Our name sake. We waited for the right time to surprise our kids. The first time and this time we had a great time. The owners are down to earth and sweet. The were interested in our family name and where we came from. The food was great! Dessert was a surprise — thank you for helping our son and us celebrate his birthday.

Great local spot. The jalapeño grilled cheese is amazing. Service can be slow when they are busy, especially Friday and Saturday dinner hours. My go to lunch order is the chicken salad wrap with sweet potato fries. I highly recommend this place.

Great little spot in an old building in WI. Great food and service each time. Higher end bar food. Meatloaf and Reuben sandwich were both outstanding. Been back a few times, can get loud when Hawks are playing, but great service and they were pretty busy for Monday night football

Great food! The Reuben is amazing. Absolutely delicious. I also really liked the mushroom bruscetta appetizer. There’s a drink, I think it’s called purple haze, that tastes like a grown up version of Purplesaurus Rex kool-aid. Also went for music trivia there on a Thursday night. Super fun crowd, the guy that runs the trivia is great. I honestly couldn’t believe that this place is in my back yard. Seriously a hidden gem.

I absolutely love this place! Clean, great/chill décor. Good service. Amazing food and drinks, especially the Tuna and Long Islands. Cute bartenders and servers, trivia during the week and friendly local regulars. 10 – 15 Minutes from Antioch and a must visit for any vacationer or local!

One word… WOW!!! Only downside of this little gem is that the restaurant is not that big & has a very small dining room… but…it was worth the wait!!! Something for everyone… even the most finickest palate. Wonderful vegetarian options. Their portobello sandwich is to die for!!! I cannot wait to go back!!! Their baked French onion soup and monkey fries are A-M-A-Z-I-N-G!!! The service is as fantastic as the food they serve! This may be one of my new favorite restaurants. We will definitely go back!

Loved, loved, loved the Reuben! The corned beef was shredded rather than poor quality slices that you get everywhere else. Our server was fantastic! I will drive out of my way to come here again!

Sieberts is another one of those small out of the way places that we’d never have found without Unilocal. We were in the area and wanted to grab some lunch — who would have thought there is a place with 41 reviews and a 5 star average in tiny Salem, WI? First, this isn’t a divey bar. It’s been a hotel and restaurant since 1880 — they even have some of the old posters showing rates of $ 1/day for the«full European» plan. Now, it’s a beautiful bar and grill with a tin ceiling, gorgeous woodwork and stained glass chandeliers. Someone’s put a lot of time and thought into restoring the place(but there are still some video poker machines, never fear!). There’s a full bar with a very respectable tap list. The food menu has a good selection of burgers, sandwiches and some good looking main dishes. I went with a burger and wasn’t disappointed — it’s a very large patty served on a quality ciabatta bun. My two tiny nitpicks would be that burger needed a bit more seasoning and I really wish they had dill pickle slices(they have sweet pickles if you like those). For $ 8 it was a lot of food and clearly good quality. The Mister went with a wrap and French Onion, described on the menu as the«best». Well, it certainly was a decent Wisco version = more cheese and bread than soup and not too salty. Service is casual and genuinely friendly. Many of the people stopping in were clearly regulars, so they have a loyal following. The interior is small(maybe seats 40?) so plan ahead of you’re visiting on what could be a busy night. Great little find in Kenosha — thanks Unilocal

Excellent local pub that’s been around since God was a baby. Good food and good beer. Try the fish fry with potato pancakes! You might have to wait for a seat on the weekends for a seat. Take out offered.

Our group has been seeking the best fish fry for months– so much so that we have begun to expect congealed pseudo– cod with wilted potatoes and old style served by overworked and tired servers as the norm. This fish fry ranked 10 across the board — food, beer selection, service, ambience… Everything. Fish was tasty with the breAdy being soggy or impenetrable. The Tasty potato pancakes were served with sour cream and apple sauce. The bread served beforehand is a gateway drug to heroin. Highly recommend.

Stopped in as I drove through Salem. Thought I would try to find a spot that I could get a safe lunch on my way home. This place exceeded my expectations as a small town bar/restaurant. This place has charm. It is a beautiful turn of the century building that once served as a stage stop and a brothel… hard to believe but it made it even more charming. I had the fried perch with potato pancakes which came with coleslaw, applesauce, sour cream and tartar sauce. The perch was sweet and fresh while the potato pancakes were hardy and just delicious. I had a Guinness to wash it down and it was poured right, the tap was clean and it tasted fresh as well. The price was on par and I would say a good value for the portions and great value for the quality of fish served. The service was a high point. The young lady who served me was friendly, energetic and attentive. I can see that everyone there liked her and everyone was very friendly. My experience was made even better by the charm of Julia. A beautiful young lady who I had the good fortune to sit next to. Julia gave me the background and history of the place and provided this old and weary soul with great company and conversation. For this alone I would come back ;-)
