Great stuff except for the unfortunate episode with the staff at night. Needing to come in quickly before they closed, two guys outside made it clear we were a burden. After empathizing and letting them know we’d be quick, one guy said«yeah, thank you». I don’t remember that being part of customer service etiquette… I will say they do have some great sales when they go on. I had a gentleman forget the electronic tag on a hat I bought and didn’t realize it until I returned it. It’s definitely tucked away so you have to make sure you don’t pass it on Salem, but for being in a no tax state, it’s definitely worth the visit. With Dicks opening up at the Rockingham mall I’m sure there’s to be competition, but it’s still not a bad place. I would say the kayaks are pretty expensive though, shop around before you decide to purchase one here, or at least come when they have a pretty decent sale!

Though it’s not the biggest sports store on earth, it’s great for a family with 2 young athletes and 2 aging(trying to stay young) athletes. They have a good selection of Nike, Adidas, Under Armour, basic North Face stuff, etc… for all athletic endeavors. It’s easy to get to and easy to shop at. The staff is also nice and helpful, but manage to stay out of the way to let you find what you need. They also have a good selection of sports food and drink. Any time we need something on the fly, it’s our first stop.

Not the best of you are looking for real good quality or variety. They have most every thing that one would need to basically start any sport, but again, not much selection for in depth sports or for people looking for specific pieces of sporting equipment. Its a nice new store, just opened a few months back. Staff were fine. No issues there.
