Not a bad bet if your feeling like having a slice. They do deliveries but I don’t recommend it. I’ve had an order take over an hour when they said 35mins. But still a very good pizza joint for decent money.

Love their pizza! Fast service, reliably good. Yum yum yum! They also have a frequent customer punch card which is awesome. We love all their locations.

I do like this pizza a lot, out of all choices it ranks close to favorite, however I have not been going in recently because the passed couple times I went in I noticed carpenter ants in various places. One time I saw a couple walking along the walls in between the news posters, and than I went in weeks later and noticed a group of decent sized ones coming out from the entry way carpet.

Just moved to town and ordered pepperoni and mushroom on Monday. They had a special Monday deal where you can add a topping at no extra cost. The pizza was so delicious and the customer service was wonderful. This will be our new«go-to» pizza place!

Small place but the food is worth the trip. The pizza is amazing, we hardly eat in the establishment because it’s so small but we always leave with more than enough and wanting more no matter how full we are.

My kid got this book at the library the other day called«secret pizza party». What I’m trying to say is that I’ve been nursing a fever for pizza, and I couldn’t hold out any longer. After a trip to the children’s museum I hopped on Unilocal and searched for the nearest pizza shop. Minutes later we were parked and I was staring into a giant pepperoni filled pie. I opted for a slice of Hawaiian and a slice of pepperoni. I split the Hawaiian with my toddler, which was a real nod to the excellence of the pizza as he usually will not even touch pizza. Hours later I am still dreaming of the tangy tomato sauce, thin crust and gooey cheese. For me, it was pizza perfection.

Best pizza!!! Awesome price. Can’t go wrong here. I’ve lived in many places including New York and this pizza doesn’t disappoint. Very authentic and delicious.

The best tasting pizza in Salem. Daily specials help make it a good lunch choice. Also, has a funky vibe. I recommend the veggie pizza. They could use more variety of slices offered, though.

My husband and I were visiting Salem for a business trip, and decided to get some pizza. The price for a whole pie was $ 18 for a regular pepperoni pizza. The pizza was okay. The slices are big and well done, but as far as taste the sauce was too tangy and the pizza dough was plain. Not a bad pizza, but not the best either.

I have been coming to this little hole in the wall for 20 years(wow how is that possible?) Yes, since I was 12, I have come to this place and it’s my favorite pizza that can you just grab and go. Hot Lipps Pizza is the only«buy by the slice» place I like better but they are in Portland.

I’ve had great pizza here, unfortunately everytime I go in recently the chefs choice pizza is a meat and mushroom pizza. I dislike mushrooms so I end up skipping the pizza and going somewhere else. If they just did something else I’d be back on board 100 percent.

Great place for a quick slice in downtown Salem. Narrow place with only stools to sit. The slices are really good and fast. And the price was right. I’ll be back.

Can’t review the pizza because I was just turned away at the front door. Even though their hours claim that they are open till 9:00pm, I was met at the door by a very rude man who simply told me that they were closed. He didn’t apologize, didn’t explain why, just turned me away. When I mentioned the hours posted online and at the restaurant he didn’t have anything to say. Based on the customer service and poor attitude I don’t plan to try and return.

This review is for the commercial location. Meh. Went at 7 pm on a Saturday night. Pizza tasted like it had been sitting all day and then warmed up. The warming process burned parts of a couple of slices, it was obvious and there was no attempt by the staff to correct the issue. Maybe a fresh pie would be ok, but this was mediocre at best. I would give American Dream in corvallis 5 stars in comparison. We won’t be back.

Very good New York style pizza with reasonable prices and fast service. Probably not a good seating situation for a large group as it’s all against a counter on a wall.

Straight from New York pizza?! more like straight from the dumpster pizza I’ve had authentic pizza in New York and have had pizza in many different cities and this is the worst pizza I’ve ever had I’d rather buy frozen red Barron’s from the market

I am incredibly picky about my pizza. One of the most important ingredients is the sauce. I was surprised to find it thick and zesty. This pizza really is like the slices in New York. The cheese was ok. The meat was a little hard even thought it was fresh. The dough was good. It was certainly worth the $ 3.75! The coke from the fountain actually tasted like coke. That’s so rare!!!

This pizza’s mediocrity torments me. Why can’t you be good, Pizza? Why? I so want you to be good and to fill the pizza shaped void in my life, but no, you resist greatness at every turn.

I had been here on a previous occasion and had merely an average experience. I went back the other week and got a slice of Hawaiian pizza($ 3.50). Ham and pineapple, yum. The cashier took a slice and heated it up in a small oven before handing it to me. I thought the pizza this time was noticeably better than my last visit. The slice was thin, with that addictive slightly crunchy crust. The underside of the pizza was a marvelous light to darkish brown. The slightly sweet pizza sauce worked well with the savory ham and the sweet pineapple. Not overly cheesy or saucy… very well done. Oh yeah, and you *gotta* fold the pizza in half when you eat NY pizza. I wouldn’t do it any other way. I really liked the dine-in counters inside Straight From New York, complete with bar stools. But damn, the smell of the place. I swear the pizza essence burned a hole in my memory bank… it’s never leaving me. I’m glad I went back… now I know what they can pull off! Their other pizzas look pretty good as well. Check out Straight From New York pizza ASAP!
