Super 8 Salem

Barb at the front desk is such a nice person who goes above and beyond for her customers. Rooms are newly renovated, clean, and comfortable. Memory foam mattress, flat screen tv, mini fridge, and electrical outlets in lamps all created a pleasant experience.

For a budget hotel, this one was pretty good. Our room was clean and recently updated with new carpeting. We missed breakfast, but it doesn’t look like it was worth it anyway – typical continental fare.

My husband and I were traveling back home from Mississippi and needed a place to sleep for the night. We stopped at this Super 8 in Salem, IL because it was close to the highway and the Super 8 is always cheap.
This location is really nice, secure and open all night. Ample parking, cheap rates and breakfast is always included in the morning. The room had a king bed, nice flat screen TV and a decent-​sized bathroom. The sheets and comforter were clearly new and it seemed like the whole place had been recently updated.
Free wifi in the room, always a huge plus. Mini fridge in the room for all of your storage needs and there’s a few restaurants nearby if you want a late night snack. We stopped pretty late, but the Denny’s nearby is open all night so you can always get something to eat.
Worth the stay if you are ever in the area and need to stop. I’m sure this place always has rooms open since it’s kind of in the middle of no where.
