If you’re in a hurry don’t stop at this particular Taco Bell, I’ve been going there for years and it’s always the same… I’m talking molasses in January kinda slow! Good food if you don’t mind waiting though.

This week marked the return of the Grilled Stuft Nacho from Taco Bell. It originally hit taco bell stores back in December 2013, and it only lasted for about a month or two. It was one of the Taco Bell items I would eat for lunch and dinner during that time. It’s now back for a limited time, so I wanted to make sure to review it before it was gone again to the deep end. Taco Bell describes the Grilled Stuft Nacho as this: «Nacho flavors all wrapped up and grilled to perfection in the shape of a giant nacho chip, with seasoned beef, warm nacho cheese sauce, our new zesty nacho sauce, crunchy red strips, and cool reduced-fat sour cream.» I was mainly a big fan of the Grilled Stuft Nacho because of the price. It was $ 1.29 and it felt like a value, however now they have raised the price to $ 1.49. I still think that is a super deal, and I’m still in line with the price of their other menu items. In ordering 1 Beef and 1 Chicken, my first reaction is the shape and structure. The triangle shape makes it look really big, however it is somewhat awkward to eat. It also is very limp and soft, without much structure inside. Other Taco Bell items, such as the Crunchwrap, are easy to eat. The Crunchwrap includes a tostada shell on the inside that creates a level of stability. Maybe that is something the Grilled Stuft Nacho should adopt? It might be worth trying. But who knows for sure but this a review! Now about the taste — I am a big nacho cheese fan, and the fact that this has two different types of cheese is a big plus for me. The zesty nacho sauce was somewhat spicy, and seemed to complement the regular nacho cheese. However, the cheese did saturate the rest of the ingredients. The beef flavor wasn’t very discernable under all of the cheese, and the red strips weren’t as crunchy as they could have been, but all in all, it is a nice mixture of flavors with a lot of cheese and sour cream, and some nice textures. I would have preferred a bit more crunch. With this type of food delivery system, just like the Crunchwraps, Chickstar, or Crunchwrap Sliders, the way you eat it definitely impacts the different flavors you encounter for each bite. With the Grilled Stuft Nacho, it is almost impossible not to eat it vertically, which means most of the cheese sauce and sour cream moves to the bottom. It creates an uneven flavor combination. When you eat this, make sure you even out the ingredients and try to eat it as horizontal as possible. All in all, it maybe 1 of Taco Bell’s best item’s, but I think for the price point and what you get, it is right on the mark. Definitely, I will be returning day after day and night after night to get this Grilled Stuft Nacho my self and friends.

I just have always like Taco Bell, it’s not a gourmet restaurant but it is good for fast food. The nacho cheese chicken chalupa supreme! Yummy

The scene: 3 cars ahead of me in the drive through at 7:15 pm. I, extremely hungry and tacos sound good. 1 car pulls behind me and now I’m committed. 20 minutes later I’m able to order, 11 minutes after that I finally get my food. I guess I have a different definition of fast food. The Mexican restaurant 1 block away would have been faster and so much better.

On my last visit here, there was a misunderstanding with our order. Being hungry and grumpy, I was rude about it. But the staff went above and beyond to correct the problem. Much appreciated.

Yeah, I have had to drive back and get family size orders fixed way to many times. Always forgetting something on my orders is quite annoying…

Stay Away!!! They can’t get an order right if you went inside and entered it into their computer. I found a sticker in my food. The rolled ones that you put on food with the date on it. They speak english well but don’t understand what you are saying. I keep giving them a chance to get better but they just get worse! They could mess up an order for water!!!

Just want to point out that this Taco Bell is terrible! They have messed up our/our friends’ orders more often than not, leaving out items constantly! Always check before you leave!!! Also the tacos are skimpy on meat and heavy on lettuce.
