The food in the service trays did not look fresh or appetizing, the chicken was quite bland. They want to up charge for guacamole, but the guacamole looks like it came out of a bag. Feels dirty inside. Never again.

They are very customer service oriented. They responded to a concern I had very professionally and their food is good too!

I’ve eaten at several TDM stores and the one on Turner Rd. has probably seen my last dollar. The food is good tasting, but to be in that location, I have to wear a sweater and a parka! Summer or winter it’s runs generally about 40 degrees in there… plus with the fans running… Today the young man must have been new, but I don’t fault him for that, everybody had to start somewhere. However, by the time I got my food it was nearly stone cold… which I blame on the ambient temperature. This is the last time I will eat with my parka hood over my head. My husband said, «let’s go, you’re shivering.» No more money from me TDM!

Strike 3. Cold overpriced burrito, with a rubber tortilla. and still no shredded beef. Disappointed for the last time.

So the food is decent, but what the hell is wrong with their order management? I can’t say much about the dine-in experience because I’ve only ever used their drive-thru and that is enough to send me running home to cry to my mommy. The experience can be summed up in the following 10 steps: 1.) Drive Up 2.) Somebody asks you to give them your order. 3.) You repeat exactly what they have listed on their menu sign. 4.)That person asks you 30 questions about what you want because simply naming their platter isn’t enough. 5.) They do this for every menu item you order(pray you don’t have a lot of people to get food for because they might be dead by the time you get home.) 6.) 10 Minutes later, they’re done figuring out what you want. 7.) Pull up to the window to pay and pick up your food. 8.) The guy at the window stares at you for a while, then stares at your food and finally stares at the surgical gloves he’s wearing. 9.) Him and some other person inside the store verbally confirm every item on your order before they hand it to you because they either don’t trust each other or want to make sure the food you’re getting is not the food the imaginary person behind you ordered because you’re the only car there. 10.) You grab your food, pay and drive off waiting for Ashton Kutcher to show up to let you know you’ve been Punk’d. To make an comparison; ordering at the Taco Del Mar drive-thru would be akin to ordering a Big Mac combo at McDonald’s and the attendant asking you. «Ok, you want a Big Mac? Do you want two all beef patties? Do you want special sauce? Do you want lettuce? Do you want cheese? Do you want pickles? Do you want onions? Do you want a sesame seed bun?» Taco Del Mar, I like your food but please for the love of the fast food gods, get a better system in place!

Jst moved here from southern Arizona. Grew up on Arizona/Mexico border. I know Mexican food. This is a FAST food place & with that in mind. Fish taco: double wrapped steamed corn tortilla-check. Cabbage-check. Sauce-check. FRESH cilantro-check. HOT salsa(not ketchup tasting)-check. Battered fish-check. Lime wedges-check. REFRIEDBEANSTHATDONOTTASTEOUTOF A CAN-check. THICKTORILLA CHIPS-check. They are not high priced we spent less that $ 12 for 2 combo platters. Comparable to any other FASTFOOD place. When I don’t want to make my own fish tacos this is where I’ll go! And all 3 employees were very friendly. I don’t work here I live in Mcminnville & was going to Costco & Lowe’s just in case you’re wondering.

First off, I’ve been by so many of these before without trying. So since I’m in a fish taco mood and being this my only shot in Salem to find one decent outside of CA, I try it. Was not impressed at all. What you get here is a slop of an unappealing ‘taco’ which is a little piece of battered fish and plain lettuce and presumably some sauce(I tasted something, it was ok) and that’s it. The GF had a steak taco and she mentioned it was cold and not great at all. For two little tiny soft tacos we spent somewhere in the ball park of 6 bucks. You want real tacos? Go to a hole in the wall joint that has the ugly color scheme, there’s plenty of those in town. And you get great authentic tacos for your $‘s worth.
