my girlfriend dropped her iphone in the toilet. we went to apple to see about getting a replacement and they told us that itd be 400 $ since it fell in water and is now toxic. they refused to touch it. we were walking by this kiosk in the mall and as a joke i said«hey go see if that guy will fix your toilet phone» she did and he basically said challenge accepted. replaced the battery, dock connector, and the microphone and the thing works like new. highly reccomend this if you wreck any electronics.

The Tech Center at Rockingham Park Mall opened last week. I visited this past Sunday and recommend them. The ‘Center’ is a kiosk outside JC Penney. There were 3 tech’s working and a manager/coordinator. I had to have the touchscreen replaced on my phone and the work was done perfectly within 2 hours. The location is starting up so there is some chaos among the techs and I think that will iron itself out. The estimates for cost and time seem to be done off-the-cuff, and that is my only complaint. The manager gave me one cost and a tech another. IMHO these conversations should happen out of the earshot of the customer. The time estimate was 90 minutes. I returned 90 minutes later and the said to come back in 25 minutes. Later two techs were arguing about the time to fix a phone. The customer who left the phone wasn’t there(good) but I was(bad). I believe this will all work itself out as they gel as a team. I HIGHLY recommend them. The phone is beautiful again, I was given recommendations for a better case and the tech showed me how to auto-test it. Fun times!!! I also think the service-cost ratio is excellent. I purchased the screen myself at $ 30 and paid $ 40 for the labor. The alternative, due to my crappy AT&T insurance, would have been $ 500 for a new phone.
