The owner Alan yelled at me on the phone and then in his storefront because I was 1) unhappy with the repair work they did that lasted less than 90 days and 2) was not pleased with his offer to fix it for free after he had shouted at me. I tried to retrieve my ring without dealing with him, but he was waiting for me and seemed hopped up and ready for an altercation. I was already unnerved and I told him I didn’t want to have a conversation with him, just wanted my ring. He really seemed to want a fight from me and was disappointed that I continued to ask «why do you want to engage in this behavior with me? I’m trying to leave». His behavior and temperament were shocking. I have never had such a frightening experience with ANY business, let alone an owner/​manager. I would never go back

My wedding ring is a size 7 and 5 mm my husband went to different shops and looked online because he wanted to engrave something on my ring and everywhere he went he was told there was too much and it could not all fit. Finally he ended up in vernons and was able to talk to Alan, the guy who ACTUALLY does the engraving IN STORE he was able to engrave everything, my husband was so happy and to top it off it was finished THAT WEEK. Thank you Alan. My family and I recommend you highly and will come to you now on for all our jewelry needs!

We had an incredible experience with Vernon Jewelers. We purchased a custom made engagement ring and it turned out PERFECT! Alan was very knowledgable, helpful, and did everything we asked for. And the price was amazing! We shopped everywhere between Salem and Portland and Vernon Jewelers had the best price by a landslide! Make sure to stop by when looking for engagement rings or other jewelry, we are so glad we did!

Do not shop at Vernon jewelers. Bad bad bad customer service. Dishonest and incompetent. Don’t waste you time here. We buy alot of jewelry and we would never go back. I will be updating this review as the situation continues. Waiting for them to right the wrong.

Terrible, I was to by their repair/​appraiser that he could fix my watch. I left it with him back in the beginning of November, checking back in every two weeks. He continued telling me that he had not gotten around to it, so I finally gave him a month, and a half with no contact. Today I get a call from them telling, me «We can’t repair it so would you please come pick it up as soon as possible» with a snippy attitude.

They have a fantastic selection of watches, customized jewelry pieces such as rings, bracelets, etc. I have been here a few times, the last time I had to get a ring fixed that I purchased when I took a trip to Hawaii. I had excellent customer service, it cost me $ 25.00 to fix the gold ring, but I was able to get it by the next day and it looked better than when I purchased it in Hawaii.
