Waited in line at the drive thru to pick up a prescription. When it was my turn the pharmacist put a sign in the window that they can’t dispense without a pharmacist on duty. They call my house to pick up the prescription or they will put it back on the shelf. I take an extra 30 min vacation to pick it up and the pharmacist decides he cant. Government controlled heathcare at its finest. It’s a law the pharmacist can’t dispense without a pharmacist. Aholes. Time to find another pharmacy.

I’ve shopped at every Walgreens in Salem and Keizer but this location is my favorite because of the helpfulness and knowledge of the staff. Julie at the cosmetics counter is the best. She is always professional and pleasant and makes shopping twice as much fun. This location usually has ad items in stock whereas other Salem locations often don’t even on day one of the ad so it is nice to be able to buy items on my list instead of driving to multiple locations. Great sales and a great staff make this a five star store!

The Salem Pavillion at the State Fairgrounds is a great place for large scale events. With oodles of parking available as it shares space with all fairgrounds parking, it’s an easy place to get into. From the picture you will notice a cheer competition taking place. Many other events have been held here. Unlike a lot of stadiums with bench seating, here everyone has their own hard back seat. Although if you plan on spending any length of time in the stands, plan on using a seat cushion for those long days. Your standard concession food is all here, burgers, hot dogs etc will populate your menu. Facilities and restrooms are always well kept and even with large crowds never seem to be crowded. The only thing this place really lacks is a wifi for us nerds to waste our life away.
