There is not enough space here to address my complaint. First, I am not leaving my contact info because it does not say if it is confidential or not. I think this employee has some issues and I don’t want to risk being troubled by her further. Also you require an employee name, not just a receipt. So I called the store and spoke w Mallory offering a receipt number to find out who was working that day at the front counter and Mallory did not feel comfortable giving me her name at first. I came in on Friday at 2pm after taking my dog who was hemorrhaging to the local emergency Vet hospital. He was a wonderful dog, who became ill around 5am that morning. We were shocked at his sudden illness of HGE. My vet lives 45 minutes away. He hospitalized him for the day and my options were to leave him in their outside kennel all night or we could take him home but we had to pick him up on time before their close and return him daily for hospitalization to see if he could pull through. They wanted me to arrive again at 4pm. I still had tons of things to do. I ran into Walgreens thinking it would be quick. 1 new male employee took alot of time helping me find ortho pads and also bed protectors, but it wasn’t his fault. I didn’t even tell him about my emergency(why should I, really…) still he was polite and got the mgr to tell him where to find what I needed. I approached the cash register and Laurel received a call being very friendly on the phone with the caller wanting to address their issue, and there was a customer in front of me. Laurel was chatty with the phone caller and I saw she noted as I checked my watch. When she got off the phone I asked if there was another checker open. Makeup had another customer she was talking to likely about some needs and I ran over to photo but they were busy too, so I came back still the next in line and she was chatting it up with the customer who didn’t say 1 word to her, I am sure she was not interested and even seemed uncomfortable as Laurel began using innuendo against me. «Some people are always in a hurry, they don’t understand how it’s my job to be friendly… and so on and so on…» I will bet she went on fo 4 minutes as she rang up 2 items… she clearly had an agenda and finally I said, «Look, I’m sorry, we have a medical issue we have to deal with… PLEASE, I need to get out of here as soon as possible.» Then she just got angry and said, «that’s the problem with you people. You know I deserve respect TOO! I have to do my job a certain way. If you are late today, you should have left home earlier instead of trying to get me to go faster. Just get up earlier in the morning and you won’t have to go through this.» How dare anyone speak to a customer in such a way under any circumstances? That next morning we lost my beautiful dog… and with it I remember the pain Laurel caused me during one of my worse days. I am assuming she is efficient, but she should be in the back room taking inventory because that lady has issues and the store manager looks the other way.

Busy Saturday and the pharmacy is closed midafternoon? Get some coverage! The parking spots are tiny and you practically have to be a toothpick if someone parks next to you much less get little kids buckled is impossibly. Walgreens seriously get it better!

excellent and attentive staff. i’ve been in a lot of pretty BAD walgreens(i mean, real scary ones), and this one is the best i’ve ever set foot in. clean and bright and inviting.

I’ve always been happy with Walgreen’s for picking up a few quick items and filling prescriptions. Walmart has always been a mess when it comes to handling my prescriptions, so imagine my excitement when I moved near this Walgreen’s. As expected, they did not disappoint. Their Android app makes it very easy to scan my prescription bottles for refill, and they notify me via text message when they have been filled. The people are always very nice and helpful and the pharmacists are very patient even when I’m asking dumb questions at the drive-thru.

Walgreens in general are all the same to me. Consistency is good as I can always walk in and find something quick. I do give these guys at this location serious props as I called in looking for an elusive product that not even the Walgreens warehouse had in stock and four different people searched while I held on the phone. THey had the last two of the particular product in all of Salem. I went down from across town and bought the product. Wish I could’ve thanked the specific individuals. They were great.

Convenient drive up pharmacy, text message alerts when pharmacy order is ready and helpful and responsive pharmacist make this a great location to use.
