We really enjoyed this place. Hubby was excited to eat a burger, the accommodate for gluten intolerance. Place was loud, but it’s a bar, so it goes to say it was a little dingy. Food was fast, staff was friendly, beer was good, fries were nice and hot! We would come back.

This is a great place to grab a couple beers and a meal and catch up with friends. I’ve tried a couple different pizzas. Pizza is good, but nothing amazing. Their vanilla porter is rather tasty. They also had Bogle Merlot when I wasn’t in the mood for beer.

I found myself stuck at a hotel Salina wondering if there was any food nearby I wouldn’t regret later. Surrounded by fast food restaurants I was saved by the Blue Skye Brewery! They offered takeout and I was able to pickup some decent grub. I picked up a 14″ Chicken Cantina pizza($ 12) with black bean, Cilantro, corn, onion, and tomato. It was your typical chicken + veg pizza but everything went together pretty well. It wasn’t mind blowing tasty, but it hit the spot. Let’s get to the star of the show, dessert! If Blake Shelton made a dessert love child with a cheesecake, this is what it would taste like. The S’more cheesecake($ 5) had a touch of zest mixed with a burnt marshmallows and a classic cheesecake flavor. I know what you’re thinking, «no beer?» Sadly, I didn’t try any because I didn’t dine in but I still had a great meal. Maybe next time!

Pizza was great. Beer was better. Waitress, Destinee, was excellent and attentive. Will definitely come back.

I have loved this restaurant in the past, in spite of them spreading the wait staff too thin. Today, we were not allowed to sit in the best lunch area, because only two servers were on duty. I ordered the lettuce wraps, because I liked it the first time I had it. Today, it tasted great but the portion was a rip off. $ 9.00 for 5 tiny shrimp, ½ cup of rice and four lettuce leaves. I should have walked out, but I didn’t. I did leave hungry. No refills on drinks offered.

One of the best bars in Salina. Good ambiance and an interesting selection of beers! This small town needs more places like Blue Skye.

For this area — good food and good atmosphere. We travel between Denver and Kansas City often and are always looking for decent food. Kids liked it too!

Pizza here is great, crispy and delicious. Although the amount of toppings offered has been cut down from the past. Low rating because service consistently ranges from poor to terrible.

When I called to ask if they had grass fed burgers they laughed. When I asked what farm they were from they laughed more and asked. It turns out that their meat if from a local meat market. Don’t be fooled, local is not always quality and has nothing to do with sustainability.

The food here is not too good. I ordered nachos and they were terrible. My babe ordered quesadillas & he stated that they were decent. The atmosphere is okay but I would not eat here again.

The pizza is delicious and my husband loved his IPA. My bloody Mary was tasty but small. Our waitress was extremely busy but should write down the orders as we never got our chopped salad! And then she kept asking if we wanted dessert even though we clearly were not done eating. Place is extremely noisy and cold as they opened up their garage door.

Interesting. The space has an identity crisis but it seems to work. It’s not a bar and not a brewery and not a pub and not an artesian restaurant. But it’s all of them. While I was there for lunch I could tell this would be a great place to meet for dinner or late night bar food as well as good for lunch. My waitress dis five my fries as if working for a upper end dinning place where the chief creates daily specials. It was nice. Meat on my cheese burger was cooked correctly and was hot. 3 stars because I had to ask for pickles when I was told the cheese burger came with. Turns out it was a wedge. Also the tomato is only served while in season and my fries were over cooked. I will return. Good food over all.

Waitress said the Fire Engine Red was their most popular beer, but I was not impressed. On the other hand their B-17 Blonde was pretty good. Has a good mild sweetness. The food fire pizza was pretty good. The wings were okay, could have been a little more crispy. I liked the menu because it was simple mostly burgers and pizza. Perfect menu for a brewery. Good to see another good restaurant on Santa Fe street.

Yeah, this place was dope. Friendly and willing to talk about the brews. Thats always fun. Food was good for a brewery and I had everything I needed right from the start. Bartender was eager to give me samples of anything we talked about. Glad I got to check this place out while I was here.

I thought that the beer at Blue Skye was truly very good! The food was good but not great.

The hip interior design was surprising. This being our first meal in Kansas we didn’t expect design worthy of an affluent college town. It seems like a great place to meet friends for a beer and a bite. The food was underwhelming though. The burger tasted like a food service frozen patty. The crust on the pizza could’ve been crisper and thinner, true to a wood fired oven experience. If investing in a wood fire oven, restauranteurs should dial in the recipe. They had a large party to serve so perhaps they rushed the process to get our food to the table faster. Service was attentive and friendly. The beer was tasty. Given being in the middle of Kansas this was a winner.

Nice place to go for an evening dinner. The staff were very nice and attentive. Food and beer were good. The menu selection is not as large as others breweries we have been too, but the food was tasty. We would definitely come back and try a pizza – seems to be the most popular item on the menu.

After a day of traveling, we got to our hotel and immediately looked for nearby food. We were nothing short of delighted to see a seemingly great brewery nearby. Blue Skye didn’t disappoint! We were told to sit anywhere we wanted, and we sat on some stools at the bar. I ordered the Dirty Ol’ Stout and my boyfriend got the B-17 Blonde. I really liked the stout! It tasted of chocolate and coffee. Probably one of my favorite stouts I’ve tried. I tried the B-17 Blonde and thought it was pretty good as well, and my boyfriend agreed. For food, I got the chicken cantina pizza and my boyfriend got the tumbleweed burger. The pizza was SO good. The corn/bean/tomato salsa was great. I think my favorite part was the lime addition, which is interesting, because I don’t usually like lime all that much(throwback to my college days and drinking too much tequila, probably…) it added a lot to the pizza. I tried my boyfriend’s burger and fries, and those were both really good. The burger was a little more well done than he wanted, but I thought it was pretty perfect! Then we got one piece each of the cheesecake. I got the strawberry and he got the s’mores. It was clearly made from scratch, which I appreciated. I don’t like graham cracker crust, typically, but I liked these crusts. Overall, pretty good. For everything, we paid less than $ 50. I think the prices were very reasonable. The environment was cool, too. If we lived here, I’m sure this would be a regular stop for us!

Stopped in for a lunch break while on a road trip down 81 and was not disappointed. Staff was friendly and the interior was cool and exactly what you would expect from a microbrewery. Since I was on the road, I skipped the beer and went straight for the food– I ordered a margarita pizza with peperoni and it realty hit the spot. I had plenty left over to take with me on my drive and was happily surprised at the price– 11 $ for a 14 inch brick oven pizza is a pretty good deal. Between lunch and the coffee down the street Salina was a total win of a pit stop

This is a relatively new place as breweries go. There is a bright beer future here if last night was any indication. The IPA is very good, with body to back up the hops. The seasonal Hugh Heff wheat beer was also a worthy effort. As for food, I had the pizza of the week… Bacon chicken ranch(and added jalapeño). The crust is just about perfect and the toppings are all evenly distributed. I ate the whole damn thing, so no breakfast for me the next day! Service needs a little work here. I’m not sure why it was slow, but it was at the bar where I sat and I also overheard people asking for their servers at tables.
