Red Rooster’s Cafe

I’ve been going to this place since it opened. In the beginning they were great. The food was good and the staff friendly. They had a fairly diverse menu and were genuinely concerned with your satisfaction. Sometimes We would miss the 11 am cut off time for breakfast and if they could they would go ahead and make our breakfasts and sometimes they couldn’t. That was fine and understandable. After all their lunch menu was good and I could find something I liked. This morning we missed the breakfast hours and when we asked about an extension we were told «absolutely not». Thinking this was a little curt but still understanding that they were busy I ordered the Roast Beef sandwich with gravy and mashed potatoes. I was told they hadn’t made mashed potatoes and all I could have was French Fries. Then the waitress laughingly said «today is not your day is it». I paid for my drink and left and will never go back. Today is my day after all.

The food was nice restaurant with very friendly staff but nothing especially great about the restaurant other than it being local.
