Creekside Elementary School

My review is based on the four years my son has attended here. The first three years were great due to him having great teachers. Ms. Pastoriza (K & 1^st) Ms. Wong (2^nd) both instructors did an amazing job with thier teaching. my son was comfortable and well educated. Not to mention that at any point in time he fell behind they were quick to let me know. However; for some reason this year (3^rd) a lot has changed. They didn’t have a christmas showing wich was very dipressing & his teacher whom I still do not know her name because she spends more time absent than her entire class combined. And when she does decide to show up shes late not giving me an opprotunity to speak with her. This isn’t the first teacher I’ve heard who does this thus the one star reduction. But the second star was taken off because of the lack of the christmas performance and parent teacher assemblies. I forgot to mention my son was awarded student of the month for February 2014 and his teacher «forgot» to mention it to me. That was very upsetting! I didn’t get to see my boy receive his award. Overall some teachers take thier job seriously, but due to those who simply do not care I gave the school 3 stars.

My son has been going to Creekside for 4 years. I absolutely love this school. He has had amazing teachers that really get the kids projecting towards college. Ms. Cline is the best principal I have ever come across. You also can’t beat the incredible parent involvement.
