I buy grass hay for my miniature horse at Dave’s Hay Barn in Salinas. Why?
A+ quality grass hay for my little one! Their prices are great! Their service is superb, always fully helpful and very friendly! They recognize the Horsemobile as soon as I drive in and never fail to ask about my horse :-).
Knowing that I can’t lift much weight, they kindly and generously take their time and energy to break the bale down, putting it into manageable bags for me. They take care to check the freshness throughout this process. They operate my ramp for me and load the bags into the back of the Horsemobile so that I can access it with the least amount of energy cost fir me. They always close up the ramp safely once the hay is in. They’re great!
Their credit card process is a pleasure. Dave’s Hay Barn is always pristine and well organized. It’s easy to drive into and out of safely.
I recommend these great people and their excellent products and encourage you and your horse to give them your business. They’re a joy in my life!

rolled up one minute after they closed and was treated as if I was some kind of VIP. Friendly staff carried the huge bag of dog food to my car. Nice people with good country manners. THANKS!
