Tasty tacos! This place is near the hotel I was staying at. It’s an easy 5 minute walk. The asada tacos are awesome, pastor tacos are really good. Get your tacos with everything, the sauces are great.

Hands down best Mexican food I’ve ever eaten. Tried the carne asada burrito, chorizo tacos, carnitas tacos and cheese quesadilla — everything was fresh and made to order. Super friendly staff. Worth the drive.

OMG. This place is amazing! I almost had half of everything from the menu and only paid $ 13. I had never had real Mexican food up till then. The chef is friendly and cares more about your tasting experience rather than the $$ he is getting. Love this place.

My husband and I just ventured from our normal taco truck to try this place out. We went based on a review in the newspaper we saw. We are so glad we did. It was delicious! Fast, friendly service. Very tasty food. And great prices. Definitely recommend this place. It’s not on the beaten path, but easy to find, and easy to park. We had a Vampira with carnitas, tacos al pastor, and tacos de pollo. All had very tasty flavor and just enough spice to feel the kick, but not too spicy. Loved it! They even have some stools to sit and eat there and a hand washing station.

Looks like I’m the first to review La Paloma, not too surprised! This fayuca(Salinas slang for Taco Truck) has been an East Salinas staple for as long as I can remember, I remember coming here as a little boy on Saturday afternoons with my parents for some amazing tacos. Childohhod memories aside, let me briefly review this ‘Taqueria on Wheels.‘ Yes their tacos are awesome, yes their burritos are awesome, yes their quesdaillas are awesome. I particularly enjoy their asada and al pastor tacos. I wish they put a little extra cheese on their quesadillas, but that’s just me, since I love cheese. They recently(at least to my knowledge) added Burgers to their menu. I haven’t tried them personally, but the regulars that I see there all say they are great and fulfilling, so I’ll take their word, I’ll update my review once I give ‘em a shot. And finally, the people working in the truck are very friendly, and will gladly adhere to your pickiness, though I don’t see why anyone would need to be picky here anyway. Oh yeah and they recently installed a TV, which is great for the people that decide to stay and eat, hang out, etc. by the truck, or if you’re just waiting for your order. Stop by La Paloma on Griffin St. on the weekends, and I guarantee you’ll love it!
