Their paletas are delicious. Their diablitos not so much… Mine was full of big chucks of ice and not enjoyable… They were super busy so idk if that had something to do with their service but I would go back for their paletas!!!

FINALLY found this place. The business address was listed as 1570 when it’s actually 1579 which is across the street in the next shopping center. It’s currently 60° with a cold breeze outside and it was strangely hot inside this place. Empty as F. Limited seating & tables but I’d rather go outside if it’s going to be that warm in there all the time. Went in looking for bionicos & found out how small they were(container was cupcake size) Asked about things advertised on the window to find they no longer sold churros. Weird place but I did see a few small groups walk in for paletas & scoops of ice cream.

My dad wanted to get ice cream so I tagged along with him. He decided to stop by this place because he said he had been here a couple of times. When we walked in the placed looked like it was too big bc it was pretty empty meaning as in they needed more tables or more seating to fill in that huge place. Anyways they have paletas(popsicles), ice cream, and other Mexican snacks. I decided to get a paleta that had fruit. Fun fact this place makes their own Mexican ice cream and paletas. My dad got an ice cream scoop in a cup and I got a paleta. We paid 6 something for the ice cream scoop and the paleta. I honestly think it was a little pricey but then again they make their own stuff. My paleta was good and my dad was satisfied with his. Will I stop here again? Maybe when I’m in the craving for real Mexican ice cream

I came in today and it was close to 90 degrees outside. Somehow, it was hotter in here than it was outside. Anyways, I asked for an «agua», hoping for an horchata drink. «They didn’t make any today», said the young lady. You mean on a hot day none of you had the inspiration to make some horchatas? I then ask for some nachos. «Oh we don’t have any.» Lol… Are you kidding me? After being shot down on two items that are on their menu, I decided I didn’t want anything here after all. My wife ordered a bionico and it was almost postage stamp sized. If you want a real bionico that actually tastes good and uses fresh fruit and isn’t stingy with the serving size, go to the Swap Meet on E Alisal. They’re much better. I’d be surprised if this where anywhere else, but you need to understand this is Salinas, and Salinas businesses have very poor work ethic. Also, they had«La hora de la Chokolata» full blast. Can you say G-H-E-T-T-O? Haha!

(If you can’t find it, cross the street.) YUM. Fantastic variety of paletas, and we wanted to try them all. The pineapple with chili had my tongue tingling by the end, and was delicious. We tried the caramel and strawberry with cheese to great success as well. Definitely check this place out! Address is wrong here; it’s across the street at 1579.
