Planned Parenthood

Great service!
I went in at 8am, and did not have an appointment and was still seen. The young lady at the front desk did tell me that they were fully booked for the day and she was going to try and get me seen. I did have to wait about an 1hr before I saw a dr. But she did her best and even checked to see if seaside had any openings.
I will definitely be back!

Let me be clear… Planned Parenthood in general, 5 stars. Planned Parenthood provides much needed services for women and families. However, this is easily the worst Planned Parenthood I’ve ever been to.
My biggest complaint about this Planned Parenthood is that it is so incredibly slow. Even with an appointment, it takes forever to be helped and then to be helped again after actually having your name called. In part, it’s not their fault. It is always insanely busy here. But there have been times when it was not very crowded and everything still took forever. Once they have called me back into the room and asked me all the questions they need to ask, I don’t understand why it takes so long just to get a refill on birth control.
The staff is generally nice, but I have found other places to be better informed and more pleasant.
If you live in or near Salinas, I recommend the Planned Parenthood in Seaside.

This place is a piece of S**T! And they don’t deserve any stars! I have been to Planned Parenthoods in the past and this was by far the worst experience ever!
I arrived early because I was a walk in. I called the the prior day and spoke to a nurse who sounded like she had a miserable life, I was polite the entire call, didn’t even get upset when she hung up on me.
Today when I showed up, I filled out the standard form and was asked to pee in a cup. I waited 45 mins for them to tell me that they could squeeze me in at 3:15pm.
I came back at 3:15 and filled out another two standard forms only to be told that they could not help! The hollow head behind the counter asked me if I wanted birth control or condoms to which she replied they didn’t have those kinds of services. I was not there for birth control or condoms. Then she proceeded to tell me that I would be charged for the services I needed. Not once did she ask me why I was there.
It would’ve been nice to know that in the morning rather than waste my time filling out forms they obviously don’t know how to read.

I found out I was pregnant and decided to start Prenatal Care at Planned Parenthood. This is a great place for prenatal care and the staff is very friendly. I had issues with my insurance in the beginning but they were great at handling it. When ever i call they always get back to me right away. They remember my name and are very personable.
