The owner was SOOOO kind, helped me out with checking the prices of the items, was patient, and the employee was sweet too (:.The owner also gave me a free gift of a Hello Kitty Con pin and a really nice Hello Kitty and friends poster. The clearance rack has something for everybody. Great selection of bags. Has AMAZING sationary (Korean/​Japanese sationary).And super cute lunchboxes and bottles.

I don’t know why this store has such bad reviews but I think this is one of my favorite Sanrio stores. It’s not that big of a store compared to other Sanrio stores and is privately owned. But I absolutely love the store and the owner!
I live in the Bay Area and since my main Sanrio store closed down, I go to this one every few months. The owner is super nice and sweet. I’ve only seen one other worker there besides the owner so I think that they don’t have many employees. This store carries a lot of older Sanrio items and I always seem to find vintage items every time I go in.
The only thing is, they don’t carry as much of the newer items that come out and if they do carry a specific line, it’s not everything.
I found many vintage kitchen, ceramic, and plushes.
They also have some decent items on sale in the sale section. Don’t give it a pass until you go in yourself!

Not a good experience at this location… very small store and shady proprietor. we drive 2 ½hrs to add to collection, so we want to be treated fairly. found a purse that had visible blemishes and dirty. Asked if he had another. he said no, that he would clean it up. I asked for a discount and he would knock 20 percent off and shoved in a bag. Long story short. drive to San Jose

I have been to the Sanrio Store in Northridge many times since I was younger when I would buy a lot of Hello Kitty and other Sanrio characters. Still like looking at the store. I was just there a while ago and it’s as I always remembered, except for newer characters.

Not a fan of the tiny sanrio store in salinas.
Crowded with rude people managing the store.
I notice they also cater to non-​sanrio items, particularly popular animé stuff such as naruto. weird.
