I was looking for some all black comfortable shoes for work. I usually get my shoes from finish line but they didn’t have any shoes in all black in my size so I walked over to shoe palace. Worst mistake ever. They have the worst customer service and they don’t tell you about the no return policy. The shoes had a rip in them that I noticed later in the day but I ready made it home so I decided to go the next day and I told the woman my complaint and she said I was out of luck and that the best I could do was exchange them and that they make it apparent that you cannot return anything. When I purchased them, no one told me this. I have bills to pay and I’m stuck with messed up shoes. I called customer service to no avail because the only thing you could do was order shoes over the phone. If I could give it 0 stars I really would.

Visiting from the bay, I decided to stop by this deserted mall and get my kiddo some new jeans and shoes… walked into shoe palace and was greeted right away then moments later all 3 staff members left the floor to go hang out in the back for several minutes, we could hear them giggling and just effin around while we waited for service. I had to actually call out to them and ask if anyone was working then they came stumbling out like doing their jobs was an inconvenience to them… and then they didn’t have my son’s shoe size in any of the shoes we were interested in so it was a big waste of time. Went to Vanz and got superb service there and got out of that ghost town mall pronto and will never go back!

This place is the worst place to get a pair of shoes first of all I had to ask for help before I could get their attention. Second the girl that help me told me that they did not make shoes my size, when I’m a size 91/​2, I try not to argue with them but that is the dumbest thing I have ever heard. When all of the time I had no problem getting a shoe that size. So I think the girl did not want to check in the back and bring me my size. Third everyone in the store seem like they have a stick up you know where. If no one else will hire you I can see why you end up working at a minimum wage place that will pay you the minimum so you can make your commission. And forth this place will never what so ever give your money back even if you got shoes 5 minutes ago, they will only give you store credit. So to make story long short I don’t recommend for any one to shop there.

Best shoe store in salinas to get your kicks and shirts, great customer service and they always got the newest and hottest kicks. They go the extra mile to make sure your satisfied with your purchase and they even try to order your item if they don’t have it in stock. They have Great prices and good deals. The sale reps listen to your needs and do all that is possible so you walk out a happy customer. They work with you and help you find the best shoes to match your style.
They got kids size, men sizes, woman sizes and infant sizes so theirs no other place to go but shoe place. They always playing great music that makes you feel at home.
I highly recommend shoe palace in Salinas.
