I needed a portable table for an upcoming event. I didn’t want to purchase one of those big assed folding tables from Costco because, well, they’re too heavy for one small person like me to try and lug around without seriously injuring myself.
Thank goodness for the internet! I «asked» portable tables and found a website for handcrafted portable collapsible folding tables. What a find. I found exactly what I was looking for and placed an order for two display tables. I had selected the three-​day ship option because I wanted them sooner than later.
The «handcrafted» part kind of slipped my mind. I get a call from Buzz, the person who builds the tables, and he lets me know that he doesn’t have them in stock since all orders aren’t built until the order comes in. Oh yeah (brain cells engage), makes sense. Buzz says that it’ll take at least a couple of weeks before he’s built them, stained and sealed them. I’m good with that.
Buzz left me a VM a week ago Friday and said they’ll ship on Monday and I should receive on Tuesday. They did arrive on Tuesday and I’m so pleased! They look great, they’re easy to assemble and break down and the price cannot be beat for handmade custom work.
