The appearance of Tanners Cove may be nice but dealing with the billing and customer service is not worth it! They have raised my monthly price TWICE without telling me or contacting me about it at all. And when I asked about the increase all they said was «Oh, yea it went up.» They have «double» billed my account on more then one occasion with no phone call to tell me they have fixed the problem. I stepped on a molly screw while they were doing the remodel, I got a rash — I’m assuming from the beds not being cleaned well enough. I was very unhappy with the customer service side and I could barely afford the gas over there. There is ONE uubbrr great gal — katelynn I think. She is wonderful. But the rest of it is not worth paying for. :(

I was so impressed. The beds actually work. I have been to countless salons where I don’t see a change in my color unless I go everyday for a week. because they bs, and don’t change their bulbs. This salon is super trendy and has top of the line lotions. I purchased «worship me» and it made a significant difference.
The receptionist was extremely helpful and friendly. The prices are so much more reasonable than other salons. the more stars you purchase the more the price decreases per session.
I consider myself an «experienced» tanner… who even went thru an orange phase! Lol. So, im not easily impressed… but this salon is the best I’ve ever been too. Wish it were closer to home.

I’ve done some tanning at multiple places in Salinas and as far as actual tanning services, (excluding spa services) this is probably my favorite place. It’s clean, it has that spa feeling, and best of all they have a variety of beds. A month of tanning includes regular beds and stand-​up, something I’ve had to pay extra for at competing tanning salons here in town. Its a small fee for an upgrade to high pressure beds and they even do spray tans (really well, I might add). My month included a 50% discount on lotions and the gal at the desk was more than happy to tell me about every single one, even let me open and smell a bunch of em. (hey that’s important!) This place gets the extra star for employing friendly, knowledgeable hotties.
