Great service on a difficult job at a very fair price. They stay open later which is the added bonus.

Do not go here! I took my car for new brakes and they backed out into another car so I was left carless for a whole week without even a rental. They said they would fix it n they did but they still charged me $ 275 for my brakes after they crashed it. Never will I take my car here again! Cmon I didn’t even get a discount or anything when I struggled all week without my car. It should of all been free or at least half of $ 275. Do not go here unless you want horrible service and get over charge.

We’ve been taking our cars here for several years. We’ve always been impressed with the owners, who are very fair and very professional. They definitely do more than smog. We’ve recommended them to family and friends, who are now loyal customers as well. Car repair bills are a hard pill to swallow, but at least here, I’ve always felt that I’m getting a fair price. Never had to return for work performed.

Brought my RV for a smog check to Fox Auto in Seaside and the mechanic/​owner said I needed a new carb. I just had the carb rebuilt, so I got a second opinion at United Smog Check. The owner resolved the issue and it wasn’t the carb at all. Saved $ and plan on doing future business from someone who’s honest.

Been to United smog about a dozen times over the last 5 or 6 years. Never had a problem here. This shop is more than a smog check its a full service shop. They do everything, its clean and well run. Jose, the owner is professional and fair.
It’s good to have a honest car guy. Jose is that car guy.
