Great for kids toys, furniture, dishes, books, and clothing. Holiday items too! Very nice and clean store.

I can’t believe I haven’t stopped in here before! It’s large, very clean and well organized. They’ve got it all: crafting supplies, furniture, sporting goods, kids, women and men clothes and shoes. I scored a gorgeous Ann Taylor little black dress and a pair of Ann Taylor loft jeans for $ 10 out the door.

As a bariatric patient losing weight, you don’t want to buy new clothes every couple months as you lose. I have tried other second hand shops and they are just too cluttered and unorganized for me. Someone told me about nu2u so I checked it out. I love it. Great selection and prices and the volunteers are friendly. So nice to be able to stock up on clothes for a reasonable price when I won’t be wearing them for very long.

I went to this shop for the first time yesterday, and I’ll definitely be coming back! I found many name brand, quality items for very fair prices. I could tell they are careful about checking to make sure they only put out like-new items without stains, etc. The staff was very friendly and helpful. It is not at all one of those thrift stores where you feel like you need to shower after being in there and touching everything! And the proceeds go for a good cause.

This thrift shop is in the Sauk Trail Shopping Center just east of downtown Saline. Proceeds benefit Washtenaw Christian Academy. The ladies working there seemed very happy to be there, and practically cheered when they saved their customers a lot of money with the big January clean-out sale. They needed to make room for more clothing! Here’s what they have: * Furniture — I saw a nice sleigh bed for $ 425. * Housewares — Drinking glasses, 25 cents each. I saw a huge white rotary cutting mat for $ 50.(Regular price is $ 70 at Joann’s. Used for quilt making.) It’s in mint condition, and maybe someday there will be a sale that would drop the price. * Books, CDs, DVDs &VHS tapes, with a nice sitting area for browsing. * Clothing — All in very nice condition, and sorted by size. Yes, it might be twice the price of Value Village or some other thrift shops(men’s khakis are $ 6, women’s blouses are $ 5) but all the clothing is in somewhat better condition than Value Village, where I have seen the occasional worn or stained garment. Less to weed through, faster shopping experience. I saw lots of near-mint pima cotton long-sleeve tees(my go-to basic garment) and nice, dressy blouses. The pricing system: Each rack has a sign on the end that explains the prices for all clothing on that rack.(Flat rates.) The clothing tags have a plastic tag holder through them. No paper tag on the plastic strip, but it’s color coded according to when the clothing was placed out on the racks. There is a huge clothing sale going on right now, during January. All winter stuff(hats, gloves, scarves) is 50% off. All garments marked with certain colors are 5-for-1. Yes, you read that right. Five garments for the price of one! I had one odd garment belonging to the colors that were on sale. The ladies explained to me that if I wanted to pick out four more garments belonging to the set of sale colors, THEYWOULDBEFREE. Can’t resist! I picked out four more in record time.(It helps to bring along a tape measure to check garments without having to try them on.) There are fitting rooms, if you like to try things on before you buy, but with the tape measure, I’m quite sure with much less effort. One garment was full price, but I got two 5-for-1 deals. So in the end, I got three pairs of men’s khakis(two will need hemming, but so what) a lightweight denim jacket, a sweater, and six shirts(some are pima cotton tees!) for $ 15, plus sales tax. SCORE! A little over $ 1 per garment at that rate. I love resale shopping!
