My fiancé gave me a gift card to here. He choose Gorgeous originally because it’s close to our favorite liquor store and upon checking the reviews knew it would be perfect for me. He was right. I had my hair trimmed and ombré color and it turned out — gorgeous! The space is warm, inviting & cozy and the people are professional and kind. I will definitely be a long term customer.

Gorgeous! is a wonderful boutique salon. It was really cool when the owner greeted me and made an effort to get to know me the first time I visited the salon. One of the best hair stylists is Ashley Lockwood Mathews. She takes the time to listen to what I want, she pays attention to the details, and she is so friendly and respectful. I’ve never had a bad cut or a bad color. Every time I leave the salon, I feel Gorgeous!

Such a cute place! I went to get a French Shellac Manicure from Ashley Lockwood because she had just moved from Designer’s Edge (where she used to do my nails) and she literally does the best French mani! This place is so modern and fun! You should definitely stop by and have Ashley give you a manicure or even haircut! She’s great at both!

Gorgeous! is a salon tucked in the strip mall by Mill Pond Apartments where Ikebana and Progressive Insurance reside. I only went there because my longtime stylist of five years (Jennifer Myers, now Hull) moved there. While I only went there a few times before I myself moved out of town, I actually really like Gorgeous! It is nicely decorated without being too fussy, quiet (which is huge for me) and very personal feeling.
They offer full hair services, as well as face waxing. They focus on hair, not spa treatments. What I love is if you use their website, you can BOOK YOUR OWN APPOINTMENT ONLINE. This is huge for me, I have a weird aversion to scheduling stuff over the phone (mostly because my schedule is so complicated and I feel bad saying «No… that won’t work. No… not that either. No…» I like being able to see what’s available and work around it accordingly.
My exposure to the salon itself is limited, but I have only good things to say about Jenny – seriously, she is AMAZING.
