Relatively inexpensive, decent Italian food. Our server was great. For pasta or Stromboli in a sit-down joint on a budget, you could definitely do worse.

Today was my second time at Ledo’s. The first time was a few weeks back for lunch. The waiter was nice and efficient and the food was great, so we decided to come back today. BIGMISTAKE! First off, when a Pizza Shop\Restaurant is only 5% full at lunch, that should be the first clue. The last time it was us and another table, but it was later in the afternoon on a Wednesday so I thought nothing of it. Today, at Noon, it was again us and another table. When we walked in the manager and waitress were sitting at a table by the window. Neither of them even attempted to get up to greet us or ever say Hello, just stares. You seat yourself so we sat down and a few moments later the waitress came over and asked for our drinks. Coffee please? No, coffee machine doesn’t work. Ok, so we went with water and soda. Both of our orders were a mess. I should have known when the waitress Emily didn’t write it down. I guess that is her name, it was on the receipt, she of course never introduced herself to us. So let’s start with my order. I ordered a Turkey Avocado sandwich from their menu. Now remember we only have 2 other people in the place besides us, keep that in mind. So 15 minutes after she took our order she came out to tell me they had no Turkey. Really? How could you not know that, do you not have an 86 board? I fumbled to look for something else to eat, I chose the Avocado BLT. You would think a $ 7.49 sandwich would come with something. Nope. Just a poorly made small sandwich on a tiny plate. That was it. It didn’t taste bad, but for that amount of money I was expecting something a little more spectacular. Now let’s get to the good one, my husband’s order. He stated to the waitress«I just want a plain cheesesteak with fried onion on it, nothing else.» Easy enough. Another NOPE. When it came out it had lettuce, tomato and mayo, three things my husband never eats.(Side note, this large sandwich came with fries and costs the same price as my little BLT) As soon as he saw the Mayo he was annoyed, so we stopped Emily to let her know it was incorrect. She told us it was what he ordered, and rambled off that we ordered the Famous Ledo’s Steak & Cheese. Again we explained, no that was NOT what we ordered and reiterated the order. She again told us we were wrong and started pointing at the picture on the menu of the Ledo Steak & Cheese, which if you ask me sounds nothing like«plain cheesesteak with fried onions on it and nothing else.» She just stood there and looked at us, and just shrugged. Then the other woman, I’m going to assume the Manger, a lady in her late 30’s early 40’s with blonde hair came walking thorough. The waitress told her that my husband didn’t want the sandwich because it had mayo. The manager was very nasty and said, «Well did you say no Mayo?» Um no we didn’t because it wasn’t what we ordered to begin with. The words«Ledo Steak & Cheese» never came out of either of our mouths. She told the waitress, begrudgingly, to just get another made. No sorry for the misunderstanding, No I Apologize let me get that cleared up for you. Nothing like that, the manger just walked away into the liquor store part and never gave us a second look. Now we got to Ledo’s at 12, by now it’s 12:46 to be exact and we had just gotten the first order, we dreaded how long the second one would take. He ate his fries why we waited for the new sandwich, which took over 10 minutes. It had half the meat of the original sandwich and looked rushed and sloppy. It was 80% roll and 20% meat. When the waitress dropped it off she did say Sorry at that time. She then asked if he would like a refill on his soda and took his glass. He ate the sandwich out of sheer hunger even though he was not happy at all about the look of it or lack of meat compared to the original sandwich. The waitress took the glass to who knows where then went back to that front table to text. We were about 30 feet from the soda machine, not sure why it slipped her mind so easily, she must have been more worried about texting because that was what she was doing for the next 10 minutes while our plates sat at the end of the table and the drink was never to be seen. Once she finally got up she came over we simply asked for the check, we had had it and just wanted to get out of there. By this time it’s 1:10, 70 minutes after we walked into an empty restaurant for 2 sandwiches, seems a pretty unreasonable amount of time for lunch if you ask me. Once Emily returned I said«You didn’t charge me for his 2nd Pepsi did you?» The look of confusion on her face was almost laughable, she had two tables, this isn’t rocket science. When the light bulb finally turned on she was all OHOH I’M SORRY, well too little too late. Also during the time we sat with our empty plates and the waitress was at the front table texting the manager came back in from the liquor store door. Didn’t even look our way. THISISTHECONTINUATIONOFMYOTHERREVIEWBELOWUNDERLISA M. YESIT’S THATBAD A PLACETHAT I NEEDEDMOREROOM, PLEASEREADTHISSECONDHALF: We finally left and could not get out fast enough. The cook and the manger were in the back talking as we could see them through the serving window. The manger was of course sitting(I can now see why the waitresses think it’s okay.) And a side note, when we left and walked past the front of the store you could see the table these two were camped out at, right in front of the window. You could see two phones and a stack of magazines. I guess they have enough time for that, I sure know I never did as a waitress. I would clean when it was slow, you know, earn my paycheck. I must have been doing it wrong all that time. The lack of attention from Emily on the turkey they never had and the cheesesteak that was wrong, AND the soda that never came back is just one aspect of why we will NEVER return to any Ledo’s location. The other portion, the Manager. No class. No tact. Not a care in the world that there were unhappy customers. Nothing but a look of annoyance and anger on her face, completely unapproachable. I didn’t want a free meal, I didn’t need a butt kissing, but seriously, an apology and maybe a «We’ll get another one for you, sorry for the confusion» or a swing back to the table later to do a follow up would have been greatly appreciated and would have most likely prevented this post from ever happening. I have no idea how she became a Manger as she had no leadership qualities and not a care in the world about customers. She had to get to Food Lion to get her lunch and go sit in the back, and unhappy customers with an incorrect order were not going to stop her from getting her lunch in. She had to rush past the sitting texting waitress with her freshly bought lunch and get done what SHE needed to do, it was very obvious she didn’t care about anyone or anything involving that restaurant. So I want to congratulate Ledo’s on their choice of staff and management and now I can completely understand why that place was empty at Noon on a Friday in a busy shopping center. Great job, hope the Manger’s lunch was good, ours sure wasn’t.

Great service, friendly waitress. The Maryland Crab Dip was hot, cheesy and delicious. The Salt and Vinegar Shrimp salad was out of this world.

The tables are for decoration only. I stopped by here with my family on a Friday night on my way through town. The place looked fine, and there were plenty of tables available. Unfortunately, we were told that it was carry-out only. Good grief! We could not feed the kids in the truck. Waste of time.

Of course, pizza can easily be veganized, I’m known here as the«no cheese» lady. And while a funny nickname, the pizza is always great. I have had family members get crazy meat laden pizzas, however, that get burnt and are gross to them. I however, with my vegan pizzas, have not ever had a problem.
