Seconding (and thirding) those reviewers who tell you to skip the big-​box stores and buy from nice-​guy Al. No pressure at all, but he’ll happily take all the time needed to explain anything you want to know. We needed a mattress/​box spring/​frame ASAP. I went in on Friday afternoon, made the purchase around 4 p.m. and it was delivered and set up in our bedroom by Saturday at 10 a.m.
Plus, he waived the delivery fee simply because he appreciated the business. That ain’t happening at Bob’s Discount Furniture!

Forget Sleepys, forget Bobs, go see Al at Mattress Depot. Family owned, down to earth honest fair prices. I needed a new Twin set to suprise our Daughter with when she gets home from trip and Al got me taken care of with a beautiful new Beauty Sleep Eurotop. Plus you can shoot the shit with Al. I think we talked about trucks for 15 minutes! Love these guys.

My family has been ‘sleeping with’ Mattress Depot for at least 20 years and we have always had great experiences doing business there. This week I went in to buy a new mattress set — I am getting married and wanted a king size bed set. I was so happy to see that the original family still owned the business. The owner, Al, is welcoming and helpful without making you feel that he is just trying to sell you a bed. He has decades of experience and knowledge in the industry — I think his dad may have owned the business — as it seems like he had been there for as long as i can remember. I felt very comfortable asking question after question and trying out mattress after mattress. I was there for hours and was still told to ‘take my time’ and try things as long as I would like to. I can’t say enough about how nice it is to purchase something, especially a big ticket item, from a store owner who cares about your needs and is willing to explain even the smallest detail in order to help you make the best choice for you rather than the best ‘sale’ for the business. I feel really good about my purchase and am excited to have a new bed that brings both quality and comfort to my life. Mattress Depot is worth the trip.

This is my second or third purchase from this local store and things have stayed great throughout the years at this store. The owner is helpful but not pushy. He listens to what you need without trying to sell you things you don’t need. Like the free chocolate too! Carol

I needed to buy a futon plus frame, a mattress plus box spring, frame and headboard, all king size and the time and patience Al showed was truly beyond your regular store owner. He took the time to help me make decisions on what was just right for my buying needs. I went back 3 times, always helpful, items were special ordered and delivered within a super timely manner, and he was just terrific all the way around. PLEASE shop here.
