McCann J Richard, DMD

This place is awesome! I have been going to Dr. McCann for about 3 years now and he is the best in town! It is a super clean and up to date facility. Everyone here is so friendly and helpful! Yes, my hygienist, Ashley, takes over 30 minutes, but it’s because she is thorough and actually explains to me what is going on in my mouth (trouble spots, why some areas are more sensitive, how my brushing looks, etc)! I have not had another hygienist care so much about my gum and teeth health before; even if it’s little things that I need to pay more attention to, she is sure to point them out. Now, she is the only one I have had in the office so I cannot attest to the others, but I have heard they are awesome as well! Dr. McCann is super nice and if you have any questions, he is always happy to answer them!

The front desk service here is stellar. My hygienist is sweet as can be, but it does take her quite a long time to clean my teeth — my appointments take at least 45 minutes! And, no, I don’t have periodontitis or brown caked-​on tartar or anything like that… She even uses the ultrasonic scaler (which I hate, by the way). Unfortunately, Dr. McCann was not there for my last 3 or 4 appointments, and for this reason, I may have to go to another dentist office. Dr. McCann did give me an excellent painless root canal when I first started going there, though!
