Nails #1

I went a couple days ago, nail technician was very rude, attitude when she asked for payment answered her phone constantly while doing nails just bad customer service !!! WILL NOT BE GOING BACK and I encourage others not to either.

They are very friendly and professional. My nails looked great and the pedicure chairs are very comfortable.

If you need your acrylic nails done please do not go here! I went and got pink and white and told her not to make them square and not too long. She disregarded what I said and did them how she wanted. I had to go home and file them all around myself!!! They looked like boxes on my nails! Eyebrows again, asked her what i wanted and she did her own thing. They weren’t half bad but thats not the shape i asked for. Will never go here again.

Just moved to the area and was so excited to finally get a good mani-​pedi. Made an appointment during the week — thinking it would not be too busy or rushed.
The place looked dated (lots of signs and old photo signs) and as I settled in, i noticed that the whole place just seemed really dingy. The yellow paint was not relaxing at all. The shop was cluttered with lots of silk flowers/​arrangements and random stacks of things throughout. The male owner/​manager was having such a loud conversation with his wife, that i couldn’t wait to be done.
The mani-​pedi itself was absolutely nothing special — mediocre at best. my hands were as dry when I left as when I arrived. my feet were a little better.
As a bonus, they insisted on cash payment, even though they have a sign saying they accept credit cards. They said they needed to buy supplies and kept saying to pay cash because they need supplies… fortunately, I had cash on me.
I don’t usually write reviews, but being new in town, I see how important they’re for newcomers. I don’t think to place is for me.

Nice, clean shop — very friendly staff. I dropped in for a regular manicure ($ 12). The woman who helped me was very patient and let me sample several colors before picking the one I ended up with. Manicure included a hand massage with shea butter and hot towels.

I’m definitely a fan and will be going back. I’m not a regular mani/​pedi girl, but I used to be and then I moved to NC and for some reason, never looked for a new nail place. Now that I’ve found Nails #1, I’ll definitely be getting a mani/​pedi more often. The prices are reasonable, everyone is super friendly and the atmosphere is very relaxing.
