I have a 1984 Corvette with an automatic transmission (so, a 30-​year old car.) The unit began to severely leak fluid while I was travelling through the area back in 2014. The tow truck man recommended Vernon’s, and I was not disappointed. David took all the time to answer my questions and make sure that the ol’ Vette was a happy camper again. The work was outstanding and the price was fair.
Its worth noting that C4 corvettes are difficult cars to work on.
I consider his shop a place I trust, and would recommend anyone to it.

My transmission went out when I was vacationing in Chincoteague. There is a fear that sets in when you need major repairs when your out of your own neighborhood. I was treated like a local! They gave me a very fair price and completed the work in a timely manor. I highly recommend them!
