Installers were the best did a great job and very professional. So far very happy with windows. Wish I would have shopped around not sure if we got the best deal sales person seemed sly about changing the price.

Had windows installed by Advance about a year ago. Installers were very professional and nice. However, most windows will not close correctly. The frames are slightly tweaked so the sliding portion of the window needs to be pushed/​pulled to close. One window pane cannot be removed in the summer time as the heat expands it enough to where it won’t clear the frame (I was told to check the rollers but that is not the problem). One window was not sealed with caulk at all. I called the company to pick up some caulk to correct myself. They gave the wrong color (I had been told that there are only two colors white and the color I have. Don’t see why I’d be give the incorrect color).
On a side note… if you have issues with water stains or the like on windows I’d recommend soaking some lemon or orange peals in vinegar for a couple of weeks. Add a little to some water and use this to clean your windows.

Salesman was weird and pushy, all he did was bash other window companies. Also distracted us with an iPad video while he marked up the price to an insane amount (8 THOUSAND for 4 windows!!!) only to add a fake discount to make it look like we were getting a deal. He even had the nerve to tell us that they don’t warranty the glass on their windows because it devalues their company by a million dollars. When I showed him the quote from a competitor he bashed their company like I’ve never seen. Made up lies about them and rushed out the door because their price was less than half of advanced. Since he only showed me the corner frame and a small piece of glass from their window, I couldn’t even tell if it was a quality window. Buyer beware… SHOP AROUND before buying windows. We went with another company that had prices printed on paper, extremely friendly sales person, and the window spoke for itself.

I made a appointment, no call no cancel, i waited for 40 minutes before i left my rental unit just to get a estimate. I called and told them what happened and it happened again. If you really dont want business then tell people instead of wasting peoples time especially mine!!!

My comment was very much about your company in Salt Lake City as that is where my mother lives and where your shoddy work was performed. You’re welcome to stop by and see what «high quality» work your company does. We’ve been waiting to hear back from your office since Friday. Funny you have the time to Unilocal but not call back paying customers.

Upfront I did not purchase windows from this company. I did buy a house that has their windows. I called to see if they would come look at them as there seems to be an issue with the fit and finish. They told me their lifetime warranty only covers the person who bought the windows so since I didn’t buy them the windows are no longer under warranty. Ok, I get that and seems like a pretty easy customer service play just to come look. Who knows maybe by being kind and generous you make additional sales but that didn’t happen in this case.

Quality windows for a fair price. Plus, they make their windows here in Utah and I like to support the local economy.
