Apple Spice Junction

If you want really good food and want to pay WAY MORE than it is reasonably worth in the gourmet sandwich market then this is the place for you. I can appreciate good food and I understand that you need to pay more for quality but Apple Spice Junction is not even close to being a reasonable expense. Extremely high prices for okay sandwiches and salads. They need to drop their prices by about 30% and then I think they’d be in the ballpark and they’d still make a hefty profit. It was good food but DEFINITELY NOT WORTH IT!!!

Not only was the food over 1.5 hour late but Mason the manager had no interest with assisting while we ordered over $ 140 worth of lunches. It was the restaurant’s mistake to write down the incorrect address. They charged for the lunches — again it was whomever took the order to write down the incorrect address. I have called 3 times and we are still waiting for the lunch. It is sad since the local business where the meeting was held highly recommended the restaurant. NOT IMPRESSED WITH THE SERVICE LEVEL.

I ordered a «box lunch» as part of a work meeting. I selected the «Virginia Baked Ham» sandwich, a ham & Swiss with lettuce served on sourdough bread. The lunch included a bag of chips and a cookie. The menu noted a «signature sauce» but it appeared to be dry bread and if there was sauce, I couldn’t detect it. I added the mustard from the packet. The bread was nice and fresh. The ham was tasty and piled high, but the lack of sauce made this a pretty dry sandwich, even with the mustard. Service was good — lunch arrived on time, and my order was correct.

I frequent this place on the regular, not only because of how close it is to my work, but because it’s classic, healthy, and affordable.
I usually end up getting the box lunch deals, which I think are probably the best deal they have. Choose your side from a variety of healthy options to match your mood! End your meal with a pickle!
There’s a wide range of options here, but they stick to the classic sandwich shop formulas that make it a place you can go to whether you’re feeling adventurous or if you want to try something you know you’ll like. They’re always adding new things to the menu, too, which are super tasty.

When this location opened, they came to the office where I was working with a basket of free cookies and menus. I can tell you, that was very successful marketing. We often ordered lunch from them and I can’t recall a single complaint.

Best Cashew Chicken sandwhich ever! I love the lunch boxes! So cute. Fresh bread and amazing potato salad. They deliver to my workplace and every time we order they are just so friendly! By far one of my favorite lunch places. I only wish they were open on the weekends!!!

In all the many yrs I’ve had Apple Spice for work lunches, the food is still meh. I ordered the Southwestern Salad this time instead of the usual sandwich and there was not crisp romain lettuce, or the special bbq sauce drizzled on anything or any Cilantro like the menu states. I received iceberg lettuce with corn, beans & tortilla strips and a spicy ranch on the side. I heard several co-​workers say their orders were missing items too. On the plus, it did come with 2 slices of bread & honey butter that were not mentioned on the menu. Which I’d enjoy if I wasn’t watching my carb intake.

Apple Spice Junction is a great place to come for lunch on a busy day. Their service is super fast (I usually get my lunch within 2 – 3 minutes) and it’s not fast food!
Each lunch comes with a sandwich (or salad), a side item (fruit or pasta salad), a pickle and cookie. It’s quite filling. They have some very unique sandwiches there (thai curry chicken etc). They also have a punch card. Buy 8 get 1 free I think.
Their service is fast, friendly and courteous. They also have free wifi and an outdoor seating spot. It’s a quiet simple spot and reminds me a little bit of the outdoor cafes in Paris.
My only minor complaint is that their sandwich bread can be a bit too thick so if you get food coma like me from too many carbs for lunch, you might want to stick to their salad.

The food here is realistically much more like a 3.5, unless you like really really sweet cookies. They do have some unique offerings (all of which have their strong points, though the Office Favorite is still my go-​to choice) and are very consistently of high quality. They could use more meat between the bread, but having seen their highly functional and efficient business model in action repeatedly, I can see why they don’t. Their service is top notch and really why this gets 4 stars. In a pinch and under a time crunch, these guys are damn near unbeatable and their modular packaging approaches brilliant, honestly. They have honed things and have it down to a science and kudos to them for that… now if they would just get some acceptable drinks…

Food tasted good, bread was really fresh but hardly any meat on my Turkey sandwich. Even when advertised as stacked high. So the cost was a little high for hardly any protein. Been there twice and had the same experience, and both times they forgot to add the signature sauce.
Also one of the workers was walking around taking orders and serving food holding a toddler. Just seamed a little weird.

Great sandwiches, soups and salads.

Apple Spice has been a longtime favorite. Their lunch box comes with a sandwich, a side of your choice from frogeye salad, potato salad, chips, or even soup. Also comes with a pickle slice and a cookie or other sweet treat. You can even go deluxe and get cheesecake and veggies! I love it.

This catering company is absolutely awesome. I have used them on a number of occasions and have always been more than pleased. They have HUGE portions when it comes to the roasted chicken. The rosemary roasted chicken is excellent and I recently ordered their chicken and beef kabobs which were a great hit with my team. They deliver and set up the table complete with plates, utensils and condiments and kindly leave the bill without bothering you in your meeting. Then, like magic, they come and quietly pick up their serving pieces. You don’t even see the person who delivers. Apple Spice Junction is very reasonable, especially for those companies on a budget yet want to treat their folks to a hot and delicious meal before going back into meetings. I dealt with «Nicole» who was so professional and accommodating. I will always order from then when given the chance.

Out of pure convenience and location, I was visiting Salt Lake City on business and this was a short walk within the office building park.
This no frills sandwich deli delivers what’s expected. I had the Mandarin Salad and was surprised by the large protions. After my flight the simple food at Apple Spice hit the spot.
