This is the best location in my opinion. Always speedy and great service. The staff are so friendly, they are always willing to have a conversation with you. The drinks are always made to perfection here. I am never disappointed!

Great vibe!!! The house hot brew eye opener is definitely one of the best cups of coffee I had in a long time and it is hitting the spot!

I’m just not a Beans and Brews fan. 2 stars for the beverages. Bonus star because the service is always great at this location. I’ve tried the Caramel Cielo and it was way too sweet for me. Then I tried the strawberry frappé(mostly my husband tried it — he’s not a coffee fan) and it was too milky. And then I tried an iced latte, and again it was too milky. I even ordered a small so you would think it would have a stronger espresso taste?! I don’t want to have to pay for an extra espresso shot in a small latte! It should already have enough. I totally understand once you start getting larger drinks that sometimes you need to supplement with extra, but the small one should have plenty as is. I’ve also tried their teas and they weren’t my favorite either. I have coworkers that like to come here a lot so I’ll still be back occasionally, but if I’m alone I’m opting for a different coffee shop 100% of the time. Maybe one day I will find my perfect drink and my mind will change. There are still a few drinks on the menu that sound like they will be a bit stronger(I like my drinks to be strong, but I don’t think anything Americanos or Black coffee… I know, I’m difficult).

Was served the most stale croissant that tasted like the refrigerator. Completely grossed out.

Disappointing espresso. In the Starbucks vein(i.e. thin mouth feel and overly bitter). Friendly staff willing to try out making an off the menu drink(though why a cortado(or real macchiato, really anything with a reasonable coffee to milk ratio) should be off menu is beyond me.

Great location! Caffeine is hard to find in this town. Nice staff! Good selection of drinks and food. This morning I ordered a large latte with a pump of hazelnut — delicious, perfect temperature. A thin wheat breakfast sandwich — tasty, it is thin! But nice toasted. Lastly I ordered a cinnamon roll. It took them a few minutes for them to pack it up for me, came out after my latte. When I opened up the box after i left, it was stone cold! I was really disappointed. I didn’t have a microwave or toaster oven handy so i had to eat it cold. It was my fault for assuming it was going to be toasted. My recommendation for the staff is to ask their customers if they want their pastries toasted, esp on a 25 degrees morning.

I love this place — it’s right across from my work and the service is fantastic. The food is pretty good too.

I love this location! The staff is always super nice and I’ve never had a bad coffee. I wish these guys were at every B&B that I go to.

Meh. Coffee was decent, but a bit dark for a «light roast.» WiFi was easy to access and not slow. Cookie I got was as stale as a Wes Anderson film. Atmosphere is very Starbucks-esque. If you need coffee right this moment, and you are standing outside their door, feel free to imbibe here. If not, open up Unilocal and find something better.

It’s Sunday, 3÷30÷13, and I just came from this Beans and Brew location. SUMMARY: Espresso here is terrible, and the people who work there have no idea. DETAILED: My first time here, I asked them, «what do you recommend, your drip coffee or espresso?» This is my way of allowing the person behind the counter to steer me away from the espresso if it is poor. It’s not uncommon that an employee is aware that their espresso is not very good. «Oh, I would choose the espresso,» she says with confidence. I watched as the woman pulled an underextracted«espresso»: about 4.5 oz of coffee in 20 seconds.(!) I watched as the stream turned from slightly blond to very blond as the«barista» just stared at it and waited for the timed shot to automatically stop. It’s not like she was chatting with her coworkers and didn’t realize it; I was the only customer there. She just let it flow, flow, flow. I wanted to say«STOPTHESHOT» but that’s considered impolite. The«espresso» was served in an 8oz ceramic cup. «Do you want a plate with it?» she asks. Plate? Okay, if that’s what you call it.(?) Of course, this coffee tasted like burnt rubber and was surprising similar to Charbucks with the difference that it had even less body than a Charbucks espresso. This place is for people who buy large sugary milk drinks and a pretty place to socialize. If you come seeking espresso, you will be disappointed.

Definitely a «Starbucks-alternative» in environment and coffee. It’s functional but not a place to search out. Their use of a local roaster is a definite plus, but I was left with no real information about the coffee itself. Wasn’t bitter, but wasn’t noteworthy. Service was fine. Other coffee shops in the area raise the bar a bit above Beans & Brews. They could improve with more focus on the coffee.

Not a stellar place, but it’s better than starbuck’s. They take forever to make whatever you order. It’s too bad that the hotel I stayed at didn’t have a good coffee bar.

Not awesome. I stayed around the corner from this place and was very disappointed with their coffee. After the first day I thought I must have had a bad cup so I went back the next day(It was the closest place to my hotel). The joke was on me, it was just as bad the second day. On a bright note, the staff was friendly … They must not drink the coffee.

Agree with the other reviewer about the bitter coffee. I ordered a latte and it was really disappointing. Unfortunately, this seems to be yet another coffee shop that doesn’t train its baristas to pull a decent shot of espresso. Two stars because the service was friendly and it looked cozy inside.

I don’t think I have ever had coffee from a coffee shop this bad. I picked up a drink here this morning that was truly disappointing; my café au lait tasted very little like a café au lait. It was far too hot, very bitter, and there was not nearly enough milk. The coffee they brought out to us was so hot that my husband actually burned his hand even with a sleeve; and to top it off the paper cup/plastic lid combo gave off a bizarre microwaved popcorn smell. There are two dozen coffee shops within a five mile radius of this place, pretty sure you are better off with any of them over this Beans and Brews.

Really good coffee, would have loved some more tea option like mate, but I need to loathe my coffee/tea snobbery a bit. Free wifi if you sign in, and no sandwiches or snacks, but good room, yeah, nice place

Free Wifi, lots of tables and booths, and great lattes. The only reason I didn’t give the fifth star is that I was there on its last Sunday open for business, and Sunday operating hours were the big draw for me going there. Also, they didn’t have much in the way of food, and I was dying for a sandwich. But I didn’t die — I just enjoyed my blended hazelnut latte! Yum!
