I tried to check into this place when I arrived at the Gallivan Center today but I couldn’t check in because I wasn’t close enough to the location(though I was standing next to the truck!) I wonder if Unilocal can fix this problem for trucks that move around. When I ordered, I asked if I could get a blue burger with a veggie patty on it. The girl seemed confused but grudgingly said it would be ok after rolling her eyes. I’m not sure why everyone is complaining about the price of a burger here as I thought $ 6.50 was fairly reasonable. The veggie burger was rather boring to be honest. I’m highly disappointed because I wanted to add this to my list of favorite veggie burgers. They even mention on their website that the burger patty was crafted by the chef at Sage’s & Vertical Diner(which are fantastic restaurants). I don’t think I’ll be trying this place again until they improve the veggie burger by either adding an interesting flavor or changing the patty all together.

I tried the food truck while it was parked at Red Butte. A very nice looking truck with a clean interior. It smelled great. I bought the Hunter Gatherer. It’s a burger pattywith onions, cheese and a friend egg on a bed of lettuce and roasted red peppers. Also a small amount of sweet potato fries. Nice, fresh vegetables. However I would have liked a few more ounces of beef. The patty was a little small. I know that they use some pretty pricey beef. Gras fed beef. I care about that, I know that I’m getting less hormones and junk that comes in conventional beef. I just wish that the patty was heartier. Also the egg was really cooked. I would have liked it less well-done. The wait was short, maybe 8 minutes, and I was able to conveniently pay with a credit card. I spent $ 11.50 with a tip. I’m ok with the price. I’m more than ok with the product quality. I would recommend.

I got a veggie burger with swiss cheese, sweet potato fries, and a raspberry shake and I will definitely come back. The food was delicious and flavorful.

This food was overpriced. It cost over 10 dollars for a small burger and a small shake. The service was a bit slow as well. Overall, my money would have gone further somewhere else.

My office is getting different food trucks to come out. BB came out 2 weeks ago and they were totally overwhelmed as the average wait was well over 30 minutes. I didn’t want to wait that long and didn’t try them. Everyone said the burgers were mediocre and the sweet potato fries were cold. I gave them the benefit of the doubt and thought I’d try them next time. Well they came today, and the word must have gotten out. There was nobody when I walked up and it still took 10 minutes to get my food. Tiny burger, uninspiring, and lacked any real flavor. And even though the sweet potato fries were hot, they were scrawny little leftover burnt pieces. All in all, not a great experience. But to top it off, it cost me ten bucks for a mediocre burger and fries, no drink. Double wammy: not a good burger and WAY overpaid for it. I really wanted to like their food, but sorry BB, I won’t be back.

Really wanted to like their burgers. Had them three different times, but each time I found their buns peculiar(oily) and the meat dry, lacking a good meat flavor, and too small for the bun.

Always get the Bleu Burger. Great burger but kind of pricey. Basic Bleu Burger, add onions, and give a dollar tip and you are just shy of $ 10 for one burger. I don’t mind paying for good food but a $ 10 burger would have to be something to stick in your mind for days. Only thing on my mind was«That was a good burger, but $ 10?!»

Best burger I’ve had in SLC. Sweet potato fries and milkshake are great.

i. am. hooked. after discovering this place on food truck thursdays at the Gallivan a few weeks ago, i have been going every thursday since. move over chow truck! I love that everything they serve is locally grown/made. i just hope they stick around for the winter too! i usually get the garlic burger which is around $ 7 and absolutely delicious. it really doesn’t get any better than local, grass fed beef on a stoneground bun. Sweet potato fries are equally delicious — thin and crispy, just how i like ‘em. and the real kicker that keeps me coming back are the fruit milkshakes! recently the flavor has been peach(of course locally grown) made with farr’s ice cream. i’d eat at this truck even if all they had was peach milkshakes! amazingly fresh and not sickeningly sweet. garlic burger + sweet potato fries + peach milkshake = perfect lunch + a very happy lisa

I went to the«Food Truck Thursdays» at Gallivan Center. I’ve never seen the Better Burger Truck before, only heard of it, so I decided to try it out. I just got your basic hamburger, no cheese or anything extra. It was delicious! The meat was really tender and juicy. The bread was great, and I haven’t exactly been warm with Stoneground products but this bun was really good. In fact, I must say this is one of the better burgers I’ve had in a long time. So, they live up to their name.

Something nice about coarse ground beef patty for a burger and then add some bacon to it and it becomes magical!
