One of the places you can get out for a quick 9 or hit a bucket without breaking the bank. It’s nice to have a place you can just show up and play. Really easy to access right off the freeway. And while you are there spend some time practicing on their chipping and putting areas.

West Jordan, UT
It is always easy to get on this short track. I think because it is maintained with secondary water (the reason for the foul smell that sometimes drifts over the course), it stays green all of the time. It is a great place to work on your short game.

Salt Lake City, UT
This is a good place to practice your par-​3 skills. It’s a little executive course with one par-​5, four par-​4 and four par-​3 holes.
The main reason this track gets upgraded to 4 stars is the wait time. There usually isn’t one! You don’t need a tee time. Just stop by and they’ll get you out. The course itself is usually in good shape, although it’s rather swampy much of the time. The pace is usually very good and the greens provide a really good putting challenge.
