Deep Tissue & Structural Healing

My husband and I came here for a deep tissue couples massage and infrared sauna session. The staff were all so nice and informative. I had Francisco and I believe my husband had Sarah. Both therapists are amazing at what they do. We have been to many many massage spas and this was by far the best massage and best value. We both loved our massages. It hurt! But in a good way! It’s exactly what we needed for all the built up tension we have caused by our active lifestyle. The sauna was perfect for after an intense massage. It was nice to have a private session with my husband where we could relax and detox. The price was very reasonable. I highly recommend Deep Tissue and Structural healing to anyone and everyone! We will be back on a monthly basis for sure!

5 stars for quality of therapist and massage, Tyson was outstanding. I’ve had many different types of massages, but my preference is deep tissue. Often, even after clarifying with a therapist that I like the pressure DEEP, that my objective is to work out the kinks and knots, s/​he doesn’t meet my needs. Tyson did. I have some shoulder/​pectoral/​bicep issues and he got right in there an opened everything up. Additionally, he found tension in my IT band area, glutes, forearms and calves that I didn’t realize I had and diligently released those areas. He responded to my body, allowed me to breathe through some of the discomfort while he backed off the pressure.
Room for improvement: The therapy room was a bit on the cool side, a heated massage table pad could solve this easily. The check in /​waiting area is odd — I wasn’t sure I was in the right place (I believe they were working on signage) and the room was dark.
If you are looking for a serious, professional, great massage without a lot of the fluff this is your place.

I moved to Utah from Palm Springs, CA where we had some of the best message therapists around. I spent most of my first year in Utah trying to find someone as good as the «therapists to the stars» in Palm Springs. Finally I found Franciso and have been seeing him regularly for nearly two years. He has the skills and the personality you’re looking for. You won’t be disappointed.

This place is by far the best massage around. I have tried many places as I have moved around the state. Fransisco is a miracle worker, I have chronic back and joint pain, after my first session with him my back felt better than it had in years. After about 4 sessions I was no longer experiencing the same amount of pain or flare ups as I use to. He makes his guest feel welcomed and like old friends. The ambience is wonderful and the reasonable prices make this the only place I will go for pain relief and relaxation. Highly recommend !!!

Very difficult to get on the phone. I was really excited about the possibility of getting a massage after reading many positive reviews on Unilocal and called to make an appointment. I was told there might be an opening in the late afternoon, and that they’d call me back soon to let me know one way or another. After I hadn’t heard back, I made multiple follow up phone calls to find out about the status of the opening. There was no word back at all. I continued to be sent through to voicemail when I called.
Eventually, the time slot for the massage came and went, so I figured it was a bust and just gave up. It would have been nice to know what to expect during the initial call. If there isn’t a receptionist, please let people know up front that it may be a while before you can return their call. Also, if you say you’ll call back, even if you’re busy, take 15 seconds between appointments and call so that people can plan their time accordingly.

Had a fantastic deep tissue massage by Francisco. He is a wonderful therapist with a lot of experience. He knew exactly what to do to provide pain relief for my previously injured shoulder. If you are looking for a wonderful massage in SLC, go here!

My massage therapist was Donna and she’s a self-​described healer. Indeed, she was! I was having difficulty walking due to lower back pains, and she gave me a sports massage. We did stretches and she gave me a very firm massage. It really hurt in some areas, but I took it all in because I wanted to feel better. By the end of the 60 minute session, it really felt so much better! When I got up to walk, the initial pain I felt (when I entered into the place) had almost subsided, What a difference a healer can make when they can «read» the body. Thank You, Donna!

I am not easily impressed. I’ve had massages for many years and truly appreciate someone who knows what they’re doing. Tyson absolutely knew what he was doing. Incredible. Deep. Specific. Wish I lived closer. I’m just visiting from Southern California. Brilliant. Don’t hesitate to book.

Okay, this place is AMAZING! I’m visiting SLC from LA and needed a little detox time, so I booked a 90 minute deep tissue massage and a infrared sauna. Total came to $ 125 (plus tip)… which I think is perfectly reasonable! A bargain!
I started with the massage– my therapist was a gentleman, whose name I’m not sure of, but I wish I knew, because I could rant all day about him. He was INCREDIBLE. He knew crazy muscles I’d never heard of, and found them, and released tension I hadn’t even realized exists in my body! He was very intuitive and seemed to know exactly what I needed. This was the best massage I’ve had in 10 years! I will be back again, every time I visit SLC, just to get a massage with this guy. I can’t say enough good things.
From there, I went into the infrared sauna– which was PERFECT. But before that, I must mention: these guys have all the details right. The shower had a filter on it, so the water wasn’t hard (the water in SLC is really bad). They had a distilled electrolyte water dispenser right next to the sauna, with a hot and cold choice– and a bevy of teas to choose from (all organic!). The sauna was incredibly clean, and had LED light therapy. It also had a choice of music or no music– I chose to enjoy the local classical station. Wonderful!
This place has got it spot on. RUN to this place and detox your life! :)

I had pain in my back right hip and socket area. Got some major relief after my first session. If you got some pain or tight stiff muscles, this is the place to go. I’ll continue going here since great massage therapists with experience working with professional athletes are hard to find.

I have been to Deep Tissue and Structural Healing for massages several times now and have enjoyed my experience every time. Francisco does a wonderful job at working out all my knots and sore spots. I started going initially because of a sciatic nerve pain and realized how beneficial a regular massage can be. I recommend Deep Tissue and Structural Healing to all my friends and have never had a better, more professional experience.
