I love this place! I work right down the street and on a tough week, a few co-​workers and I will wonder into this place for the BEST bacon-​cheese burger ever! I am not kidding, it is so good!
It is an obviously old establishment that is still run like a mom and pop but it has good home cookin’! The cute old man that owns it is awesome and will give you a few cents off your meal ticket if you’re lucky!

This restaurant is furnished with vinyl booths and table clothes and it’s run down, which makes the high prices hard to understand. I guess they charge so much because they are within walking distance of several pricey hotels. (By the way, the prices were higher than the prices in their ad in the hotel guest book.)
I ordered grilled wild salmon. It came with watery mashed potatoes and overcooked broccoli and cauliflower. I thoroughly enjoyed the salmon and broccoli because I’d just spent more than a week eating breaded, deep fried chicken in Kansas.
The rolls came to the table in individual plastic bags. It made me wonder if that allowed them to re-​serve them if they weren’t eaten. We didn’t try them.
