the reason i’m giving this 1 star, is because i left slightly bleeding with two cuts on my eyelids, that took almost a week to heal. it was not a pretty sight.
when i arrived i was greeted and asked to wait while the lady was doing someone else’s eyebrows. it’s a comfortable place with couches available. i didn’t wait too long for my turn and the lady did clean the chair before i sat down.
now this is when i was really impressed, when she started threading, i could barely feel it! she’s the third person i’ve tried threading with and this was the most painless experience. i was really impressed. towards the end it got painful and i didn’t think anything of it, since the rest of the time was okay. when i got in my car, i noticed that my eyelids were really sensitive, and took a closer look in the mirror. i had two cuts that were slightly bleeding on both of my eyelids! i’m not sure how that happened, but i for sure won’t be going back here.

The place can be a little bit hard to find in the large shopping center but its pretty much located in an island of buildings right in the middle-​in front of Shopko, behind Chick-​fil-​a and Carl’s Jr. It is current getting a new fascade so the business sign is temporary a white banner that says Eyebrow Art in red letters.
I am from California and was pretty apprehensive about trying eyebrow threading since all other beauty services I have had in Utah have been subpar (haircut, hair styles, manicures, and pedicures). I finally settled on this place because I saw a fellow Californian Unilocaler submit a great review.
The first time I went was on a Friday at around 6pm and I didn’t have to wait at all. The person that helped me was attentive to my requests and executed perfectly. I am not one to frequent beauty services frequently but it was so good, so fast, and so easy that I have since gone back once and plan on being a regular.
I only got my eyebrows done and it was $ 9.99 which I think is a great price. Its definitely a gem which I am glad to be on the west side near me!

First and only place I have ever gone to get my eyebrows threaded. The lady that I didn’t catch her name was very friendly and explained to me the process. It was pretty quick and not as painful as I thought. Also the price of $ 10 was fantastic!

Sonu did an amazing job on my eyebrows — clean and smooth. It was relaxing and did not hurt at all. She has magical hands, highly recommended!

I have a hard time getting my eyebrows to look shapely! I’ve been growing them out for the past couple months and went to this place today… My eyebrows have literally never looked this good! I’m so happy with the result and the customer service was amazing! Definitely making this my go to place

My boyfriend and I come here at least twice a month and we love it. They’re very precise, listen to every word you say, and are simply nice. I’ve been to other threading salons in the malls and none of them are as attentive as Sonu and her employees. My eyebrows always look great after stepping out of the salon so thank you!

I’ve been looking for an eyebrow threading place since I moved back here from LA, and I was SO happy when I found this place! Sonu did an AMAZING job the last time I was here! Eyebrows+upper lip for only $ 15! (: Plus she did a little extra on my forehead. She’s extremely precise, and takes her time making your eyebrows perfect!!! I’ve been recommending this place to all my friends!!! I love it!!! :D

I never write reviews but i felt that i should. When i walked in, there was no wait, and the lady that attended me was very kind, i felt relaxed, and it did not feel painful with the eyebrows, it stung a little with the upper lip though but it happens. I walked in to get my brows done and paid and went next door to get my upper lip waxed but they couldn’t attend me so i went back to sonu, and then when i tried to tip her a little again, she said no it’s Ok, because i had already tipped her earlier for the brows, but i insisted because she was so nice and did what i asked. I like how much better my brows look though, I will be back.

She did a good job, but my face breaks out terribly afterwards. Also communication is tough because she only had very limited English, so I couldn’t get any advice about how to help with the breakouts.

Absolutely perfect eyebrows! Just moved into the area and am throughly impressed by Sonu’s work. I will always get my brows done here! Well worth the 9.99

I live abroad where threading is very common — not so much in Utah. I am here for the summer visiting and thankfully I found Sonu! She is thorough and meticulous, yet quick. She did my brows just like I asked — not too much, just a cleanup. This is especially important because I find many threading artists just have at it and do a «standard» eyebrow, shaping it however they please. I am very happy with her work and will definitely go back. Her prices are competitive (in fact, her eyebrow prices are a steal!) and her shop is clean, welcoming and is easily accessible off I-​215 and Redwood. How nice it is to have a threading shop on the West Side — I will be a repeat customer while in town!

Ever since I moved here, I’ve been looking for a good eyebrow threading place, and I think I have found someone that I am happy with and trust touching my eyebrows.
I have tried Brow Spa 24 and Eyebrow Designer 21 and wasn’t pleased with both places. So, at both of these places they don’t listen to what you want done. Even If they nod their head and say okay after you tell them what you want. They just start threading away and do what they want. They also don’t measure each eyebrow from one another to see of they match in height. One time, at Eyebrow Designer, the lady didn’t think to brush here teeth or rinse out her mouth with mouth wash after lunch and I could smell her lunch on her breath. And further more, I had to grow out my eyebrows from broth of these places and my eyebrows still haven’t grown in all the way.
When I came in, Sonu was my esthetician. She listened to everything I wanted and didn’t over thread and also checked with me before taking off more. She’ll also give a little mini massage around your eyebrows after asking if you want lotion around your eyebrows. It’s the the simple little things and going above and beyond that makes Sonu great to work with.
So the reason for the 4 stars and my one grip about this place is that she doesn’t use head rest covers. It’s also fine to not use headrest covers if you clean the head rest after each customer, but this wasn’t done either. You might think this is a small thing, but I could see dandruff on the head rest left there from prior customers. A simple tissue over the headrest would have worked or just wiping it down with a towel and alcohol would have also worked.
I would still come back here. I would just tell her to put a tissue on the headrest. Another plus right now is that there is a 20% Unilocal check-​in discount. So your eyebrows will only cost $ 8.

My eyebrows look fantastic! She knew what I wanted without really asking. I just said to clean them up, and they turned out better than I imagined. Very clean studio, nice staff, good prices.

I am very particular about my eyebrows and was nervous finding someone good after moving her from California. Sonu is the BEST. And I won’t let anyone else touch my eyebrows now!
