Isn’t it the point to go try on dresses with your family and bridal party… Well this store is very rude and I would never recommend anyone go there. I brought my 18 month old daughter and people don’t like kids so I got asked to leave. It’s not what you say it’s how you say it. And the employees were so rude!

This was one of the bridal shops I went to in search for my temple-​appropriate wedding dress. I was surprised at how they have a wonderful selection of modest wedding attire! They had a bridal consultant with me the entire appointment helping me choose dresses, and I tried on close to ten gowns until I found the one I absolutely fell in love with. They took my measurements and ordered the dress in to fit me. They also had a matching veil that went perfectly with my mermaid style gown. I had someone recommend this place to me and since then I’ve recommended many of my friends here, too.

Perfect experience! Loved how organized the website and the store are! Made it so easy to find exactly the style dress I was looking for, in the right price range. Great customer service and beautiful selection! Couldn’t have loved the experience more!

Long story short. Walked in without a dress and walked out with one. Their dresses are beautiful and don’t cost more than $ 3,000!!! They asked my budget as soon as we sat down and talked and I was happy to hear that everything was so well priced. They also were very specific about what could come in on time and what dresses would not fit my time frame. I seriously loved this place and recommend it to everyone!!!

I’ve been to this bridal shop on 2 separate occasions. The first time was as a walk in to look at wedding gowns (which they were not very fond of). They were still able to set me up with a consultant, Ashley. She seemed to have no desire to actually help me in any way so I left empty handed. The second time I came back (Which I made an appointment for) I had Velvet as my consultant. She was SO helpful! She was very friendly, and very attentive to what I actually wanted with no high pressure to buy anything that day. (Even though I did) She was great with working around my small budget, and timeline for when I needed everything. Luckily everything was in stock so I walked out with a wedding dress, belt, and a temple dress! The store had a great selection, and really good prices! I would refer them to anyone looking for a wedding, temple, or even prom dress.

I could not be happier with our experience with Rylie and with the whole team at Gateway. I have to say I wasn’t sure walking in but we found her smiling at the desk and she immediately assured us she could help us find anything we needed. It turned out that while we came in for a veil we found so much more. And, we were both thrilled with our bridal moment. There was no pressure, no pushing, lots of room and lots of attention. I will post again sooner to the event with an update. But, this truly was «the place»!

My sister and I had a lovely experience here! We were helped promptly at our appointment time and seated at a beautiful mirror and offered bottles of water. We were given a tour and instructed to select five dresses to start. From there, we had a great time. They helped my sister adjust each dress perfectly.
She actually found «the one» and purchased it that day.
Reasons I’m knocking off a star: their employees seem just a little green. All very friendly and helpful but lack the professionalism of other shops we visited. Their accessories (particularly the belts) are overpriced about 20% above what others offer for the same brand and style.

I am writing to share the AMAZING experience I had at Gateway Bridal with my consultant, Rylie, this past week. My mom, sister and I had flown in from Hawaii and California and met for two days of dress shopping. The first day was so discouraging as we went to six different stores looking for dresses without any luck. I was specifically looking for something white, modest and temple ready. This was SO difficult to find and I was so discouraged at the lack of selection. We even walked into two different stores with our needs only to be told that «I’ve just sold my last white dress» or «I don’t have a single dress that fits your description.» The places that had modest, white dresses had the same dress over and over again and I was beginning to think I would have to wear a cookie cutter dress.
On day two, our first appointment was with Rylie at this store and we canceled all the rest! Rylie took a very discouraging experience and made it fun, exciting, and the experience every girl actually hopes for. She was SO patient and positive as we tried on several dresses. I was so excited to find a selection! I had several beautiful gowns to choose from. Rylie even helped us find a wedding gown that we are altering to make into a fancier bridesmaid dress for my sister. We left there two hours later with two gowns (so grateful they had our sizes in stock) and ordered a veil, a tiara, and four pairs of shoes that were going to be dyed. This was another blessing as I had searched everywhere for shoes for us that would match my specific red.
Rylie went above and beyond, even helping me text pictures to a bridesmaid to let her choose the style. She is a true asset to the company and made all the difference in my wedding dress shopping!
I am so grateful we went to Gateway Bridal and will recommend it to all my friends! Be sure to go here for your dress!

I love gateway bridal! The staff was so nice, gave great guidance throughout the store and had a really great selection. Danielle Campbell was the best consultant, she made me feel confident, comfortable and helped me find exactly what I wanted. She’s the best!!!

What a sad experience. I waited until the dress was in my possession to write a review. Well, it is absolutely beautiful and fits perfectly. My experience purchasing it, however, leaves a lot to be desired.
Before making my appointment, I found about 8 dresses on the web site that I liked and wanted to try on. When I made my appointment, I gave the woman all the names of these dresses and she said she would pass them along to my consultant and they would be ready to try on when I got there. My appointment was at 10 AM on President’s Day. When I get there, the doors were locked. After waiting until nearly 10:15, I called the store and asked why it wasn’t open. The girl said «Oh you have an appointment? I can open the door.» It’s absolutely ridiculous that I had to call and ask them to open their door, and about 5 other girls got out of their cars right behind me when the door was finally opened, so I know they were waiting too.
My consultant was Velvet. I would absolutely never work with her, nor purchase anything from her, again in my life. I pretty much knew what dress I wanted, and told her this as soon as we walked in. She still suggested we pull some dresses. The first dress I tried on was $ 1700 (over my budget) and weighed nearly 30 lbs because it was covered in beading. I told Velvet this was not what I had in mind as I’m being married in July in Las Vegas and could not carry it around all day. I tried on several more dresses that she pulled, none of which I liked and none of which were from my list. The dresses in my dressing room were piling up and I asked her to remove some as I was feeling overwhelmed. Then, another consultant took the mirror/​viewing area we were using. When I finally tried on the one that I loved, she tried to dissuade me from purchasing it, saying it «didn’t even look like a bridal gown». If that’s the case, why is it sold in a bridal store?!? I again asked her to remove the dresses from my dressing room and not to bring any more. I tried on another one she suggested, returned to my dressing room to find yet again, all the dresses were still there. At this point, I felt that I was being bullied into buying a dress over budget and that wasn’t my style and was upset at the amount of dresses still in my room (none of which I picked out) and started crying. Finally, Velvet decided to do what I asked and remove the dresses. I tried on the one I wanted again and knew it was the one; it fits my boho style perfectly. Velvet then tried to sell me accessories and when measuring me told me I needed a size 4 and that they could alter it down (what she means is «You didn’t buy the expensive dress so now we need to make money off alterations») I frequently buy clothing online and knew I needed a 2. After UPS delivered it today and I tried it on, I knew I made the right choice.
I did all the work myself and had I known Velvet would have made me feel so badly about my relaxed, bohemian wedding style and also for treating me like I was just another commission check, I would have ordered the dress from their web site. I called my fiancé crying after leaving the store because buying a wedding dress, the one thing I looked forward to, had not been fun at all. I made a special trip from Las Vegas with my Mom to buy the exact dress I wanted and Velvet effectively ruined my weekend.

Really great options but make sure you can order it in time. Also their customer service is really bad. The manager is very nice and I did find the dress it needed but they lost the belt I ordered. It ended up being a huge headache and even though I didn’t tell them my budget they will prioritize you by how much money you’re going to spend. I sat there for a while even though I had an appointment but decided to wear sweats. And as soon as I said I loved the most expensive dress they started being really nice. Make sure you ask the price or they won’t tell you!

When I got engaged I immediately booked a trip to Utah knowing I would have a hard time trying to find a modest dress in Arizona. It was my first appointment of the day and It was the 3^rd dress I tried on. Knowing myself, I went to 6 or 7 other stores from salt lake to Provo just to solidify my decision. I tried on over 30 gowns and the quality of service and of the dresses at Gateway bridal was farrrrr superior. Most bridal stores felt like warehouses and the service was less than impressive (even with appointments.) The atmosphere here was wonderful and Barbie has a gift for what she does. She made my experience so beyond perfect. They have dresses for all budgets and body types! I could rant and rave about them for pages but I’m sure you get the idea!

Just went to this shop for my first experience. It was fantabulous! I have very specific semi extravagant taste and the sales person was able to even customize certain dresses to my liking. Ask for Danielle as a sales person. She seems quiet at first but I could be my crazy self with her and my big crazy family and she never seemed annoyed or put out which is hard to find! Not only that any question I had she would make sure and find an exact answer not just BS through it and was not pushy at all!
