Jamba Juice

I always love the smoothies offered here and whenever I’m in town, I take advantage. Today, I tried the very upbeet, age at mix of fruits and veggies, that had just the right amount of sweetness.
I like that they offer a variety of styles, from fruit/​veggie only to their original styles with sherbet. The boosters are pricey: $ 1 for a bit of chia?
The staff wasn’t particularly pleasant. They weren’t rude, but they don’t do much to hide the fact that they’d rather be anywhere but where they are.

I hadn’t had a jamba in SOOOO long! And the person who made my drink totally nailed it! I ordered the banana berry and it’s just perfect! Not too thick, not too sweet, just perfect. Fast and efficient service.

Smoothies are great stress relievers. I do enjoy ordering smoothies from Jamba Juice. I ordered a medium Caribbean Passion, because it has all of the fruit flavors that I like. The service was quick and efficient and most importantly, my smoothie tasted great! Your name would not be asked or called, so just listen for the size and smoothie that you ordered.

OMG, I’ve never had a Jamba Juice tastes this bad. I ordered an orange juice, it’s NOT fresh pressed as they advertised, they have these containers that have all kinds of ready– made juices, they just get it from there. Shame! Tasted horrible, I threw mine away after a few sips.
Worst Jamba Juice I’ve been to, they should close this store if they want to keep their reputation.

I was happy to see an actual Jamba Juice in the Salt Lake City Airport. Unlike the fake ones they have in other airports like Newark. I was very excited to see that they were offering the seasonal smoothie The Pumpkin Smash! It is one of my all time favorite seasonal smoothies. The employee at the register reminded me of the insane amount of frozen yogurt contained in the Pumpkin Smash. Without thinking much about it, I quickly just decided to order a different flavor. I was a bit thrown off when he also informed me that they no longer offer a free boost in the smoothies. This was very bizarre and definitely was not a very Jamba revelation.
The smoothie was good and the employees were helpful. After receiving my smoothie, it dawned on me (a little late) that I could’ve just substituted out the frozen yogurt for something more desirable. So, I was definitely a little bummed that I missed out on the opportunity to indulge in a Pumpkin Smash.

I’m sitting here in the Delta Sky Club at SLC and enjoying a pumpkin smash from Jamba Juice. They don’t always have the pumpkin smash as it’s seasonal around the autumn for Halloween, Thanksgiving and through Christmas. I wish that they had it year round as it’s one of my favorites.

Background — Rush between flights, the lines where short and looked like a healthy choice.
Atmosphere — This is just a little stand at the end/​beginning of concourse D. You don’t need much when you just make smoothies.
Food
Drinks — I had the Strawberry Whirl, large size and a large is really a large here. But it should be for almost seven dollar.
Appetizer — none.
My Main Course — I got a blueberry muffin. I saved it for the plane ride. I figured it was gonna be hard and stale. Surprise surprise it was very moist by laptop actually smushed it a bit while it was in my computer bag. Clearly they don’t make these here but still tasty and probably not the healthiest of a choice.
Dessert — none
Service — Two people working, one the cashier and the other making drink maker. They have four trays of muffins and I could tell clearly the one I wanted but they had no name plates for it so I am gonna ding them for that. We want speed here so more information without having to ask questions is what we want. Okay I want, there is no we when you are flying solo.
Future — Probably.

Jamba Juice is a terrific little spot. It’s my go-​to when I am trying to eat something moderately healthy that still tastes good. lately I’ve been ordering my apple and greens smoothie: tastes great and a ton of veggies to boot, including the ever exotic kale.
I’m convinced nothing can make you feel quite as simultaneously healthy and pretentious as eating kale.
If you don’t care that much about «healthy,» then order the chocolate peanut butter smoothie. It’s fantastic if you like peanut butter.
My wife swears by the diet strawberry surf rider. Like a frozen strawberry lemonade that is pretty low cal. Yum.

I tried the apple and veggie smoothie. Forgot what it was called exactly but it had apples, kale, bananas and a few other things in there. It was delicious and made me want more. Price is kinda high but it’s the airport so what do you expect? Anyways they offer some really healthy options but if you add the extras they offer to your smoothie it’s easy to fall off the healthy path

This Jamba definitely doesn’t live up to the standards I’ve experienced at other locations. For starters, on every stop recently, there have been two employees working. That’s right: one person at the register and one making the jambas. Now, don’t get me wrong – the dude making juice? He is hustling! My goodness, he’s a marvel. The problem is, he can’t keep up on his own when the line stacks up (which it does).
And this is when the real problem starts. Once the jambas are stacked about five deep, the person working the register steps on to the juice line – without washing her hands first. I have seen this practice twice in a row now. Ugh.
This franchise owner needs to step up and get those food handlers’ cards re-​upped. Otherwise, I’ll simply have to go back to drinking beer only in this airport.

Delicious, but don’t accept Jamba Juice gift cards! Major bummer.
