Lash My World

I wanted to get my lashes done professionally for my wedding. I LOVED how they turned out! I had Becca as my lash artist, and they turned out AWESOME! She made the process very comfortable and the results were stunning! I will be coming back before any big future events to have her do them again!

I have been a customer for about 2 years now. Up until recently, I have had nothing but positive experiences. Cathy is a fantastic stylist who is fair, professional, and does an excellent job in keeping my lashes looking beautiful while maintaining the health of my natural lashes. I’ve referred several clients to LMW because my experience with Cathy has been so consistently great. Just last week, I referred my Aunt to LMW and her stylist was Tonya who she raved positive things about! 5 stars for Cathy and Tonya!
I also referred my sister-​in-​law to LMW. Unfortunately, we both had a negative experience with Hannah. However, it is only fair for me to speak to my personal experience in this review. Hannah sold me a gift certificate to the salon without communicating that the certificate is only good to use with her, not any stylist. That was disappointing as I truly wanted the receiver to choose any stylist. The receiver of the gift certificate did not obtain the service from Hannah within the expiration date. As a result, Hannah only honored a portion of the certificate. This was disappointing to hear because Hannah had been paid in full for the service in advance and I felt the service should be honored in full. I was hoping to gain an understanding as to why, in a service oriented business with the hope of a return customer, would Hannah only honor a portion of the value. In an attempt to discuss it with Hannah, initially she refused to speak with me over the phone or in person even though I offered to speak with her between clients or when she was available. She said «I won’t be able to talk on the phone.» She suggested I speak to another stylist about it or I could speak with her via text. After a text chain that lasted about 30 minutes (we could have had a phone call by then!), we finally spoke about it. Unfortunately, we never did come to an agreement and as a result she lost a return customer.

I got my very first set of eyelash extensions today, done by Lo Jensen. They are beautiful! I was really nervous to get them (we’ve all heard horror stories), but I’m really glad I did. I wish I hadn’t had so much coffee right before my appointment though because my eyelids had a hard time being still – lesson learned! Lo’s studio is very nice and clean. She’s been doing lashes for about 6 years and is very knowledgeable. Plus she’s just a sweet person! You can find cheaper places in the valley, but you pay for what you get!!!

Great beautiful. I’ve been to other places and honestly have to say this one seems to be the best.

Hannah did a great job applying eyelashes and explaining how to care for them. It took a few hours and was expensive, but the results were beautiful. Spa like setting with relaxing music.

I used to have my lashes done downtown. The woman almost ruined my lashes. Becca does my lashes and has now for over two yrs. And let me tell you what, so professional, so clean, so accommodating. Thanks for saving my lashes! golda

Never have I been so confident with the amazing help of Hannah Noorda. She’s the most amazing person and is beyond awesome at what she does. I highly highly recommend making an appt. with hannah. I’ve never seen her do a bad job on anyone and everyone I know loves her! She’s personal and doesn’t laugh at you when you accidentally fall asleep in the chair haha. Make an appointment as soon as possible! You will not be disappointed!

I had previously never had eyelash extensions and figured I would give them a try. My eyelash tech was Hannah from Extensions for Eyelashes. She was really great, friendly and professional. My only complaint about the session is that her music taste was not compatible with mine. I wish we could’ve compromised before the procedure (considering it’s 2 hours long).
If you have never had eyelash extensions before, here is my experience: I did not like them at all. It was such a hassle to shower/​wash my face. They looked fine the first week but after that they sporadically started falling out. Although they still looked okay, eventually it becomes noticeable. Also, I found it really difficult to do my make-​up (when I needed to). With eyelash extensions, you can get away with not wearing any make-​up but I just don’t think they are worth the hassle. I have since removed all of my extensions and my natural lashes are slowly growing back. Seriously think about getting this done if you never have before!

I moved out of state over a year and a half ago now and when I was in town I needed a fill and wanted to look my best before a family vacation! I use to go here before they switched owners and LOVED the atmosphere all the girls on the staff were working there and the owner even was in consistently but not renting booths out like they do now.
I must say this place has gone down hill. Where there use to be 5 chairs there is now 3 and when I went in (although it was an early sunday) my lash artist and I were the only ones there. When I use to go in the place always had a receptionist, a couple extra girls for unexpected walkins and at least 1 – 3 girls getting lashes done or they were full!
It was odd, there wasn’t any music (which I was told wasn’t provided to them by there new owner). I liked my lash artist, I can’t remember her name but she was very sweet, took off my lashes that weren’t the same as hers for free! Then took extra time to make sure I had a full set!
She was amazing, they felt and looked great but within less then a week a lash fell off (not the extension and my natural lash just the extension) which meant she was using some older glue. My lashes normally stay on for a good 3 – 4 weeks but I had to get a fill when I was back in CA about 2 ½ weeks later because they were falling out so quickly and looked sparse!
When I did go back to my lash artist in CA she noticed some of the lashes had been glued to my eyelid. and not the actual lash. She was suprised I didn’t notice it poking me.
ALSO since they rent booths nowwwww they have to (obviously) get all their own supplies, wouldn’t it be smarter for the owner to buy all the supplies for the girls at wholesale price (saving money for the girls and the owner could also profit) and sell them to them at a better price because of the bulk ordering? Plus you then would know the product like the glue or lashes is good and hasn’t been sitting around for awhile, you would also know if you had to schedule an appointment with another girl they would be using the SAME lashes.
I gave them 3 stars because the service was still great (easy online appointment and lovely artist), My lashes looked good for my vacation, and my artist took extra time to make sure she got all my lashes done.
2 stars docked because the awesome atmosphere is gone and now that they rent booths and require the girls to buy there own product seems to be more of a bad business strategy then a smart one… Just saying

I have been going to a few places to get lashes done and by far Marisol, is the best eyelash tech i have ever had she not only take her time is a perfectionist and always makes sure you love your lashes, she is good at what she does and is a sweet heart. i would recommend Marisol to the pickest! of clients

Went in not knowing what to expect for a first timer; Was introduced to Jessica who took time to talk with me and figure out exactly what look I was going for and discuss how functional I needed my lashes to be.
I chose the «Diva» plan and I am now a believer. I will never go back to mascara again. My lashes are beautiful, full, long, natural looking. The staff were extremely accommodating, friendly, talented and patient.
Two and a half weeks later, they still look amazing! I have sent several of my friends there over the past two weeks and they are all thrilled with the service and new beautiful extensions.

This is a great place to get your lashes done. I have gone to other places that do a good job but this place does a better job. Other places would just replace the missing lashes this in the the two years I have had them done but Lash my World has taken all of them completely off a few times already and replaced them which was never done before with other lash places.

I love this place. I have gotten lash extensions elsewhere, but these look better and lash longer! I highly recommend Lash My World!
