LensCrafters

There is nothing special about the look or layout of this LensCrafters. But what makes it special is the employees. I could not say enough good things about them. We went in looking for glasses for my daughter. She is 11 and was actually really excited about getting glasses. We found the perfect pair and she was so excited cause she saw the signs that said glasses in an hour. Unfortunately her prescription is a bit special so they had to be sent out to be made. The sales rep ringing us up was great and totally made my daughter feel better about the wait. My biggest complaint is that it took about 2 weeks to get these In. I called 4 days after we placed the order and the lady just said to call back on Saturday. So I called on Saturday and the lady had zero information. She said to call back on Tuesday. So I called on Tuesday. Finally I spoke with someone who had some info. The lab tech told me they would for sure be in the next day and he would call me no matter what. So on Wednesday I’m waiting for a call and nothing. So I call them again. They tell me the lenses failed their quality so they are not ready. I get it. I would rather have lenses that are perfect. But the fact that I was not called like was promised was a little off putting. Finally today I get a text telling me the frames are ready. Overall I was not unhappy just not blown away.

Phenomenal service here. I got a new pair of glasses here recently, and my boyfriend has been coming here for a couple years for his eyewear-​and for good reason. He bought me some frames a few weeks back, and I was waiting to put lenses in til I got to my doctor I like in DC. I placed an order online through 1800-​Contacts for contacts, but they got delayed and will arrive after I arrived to DC, so I needed something because I was down to o e contact lens, not one set, just one lens for my left eye. I went into LensCrafters on Tuesday afternoon and explained that I need lenses for my frames ASAP, and by noon on Thursday, they were done. This is amazing because I am so blind, that I have to get my lenses shipped in no matter where I go. They were able to order my lenses, receive them, and put them in faster than I’ve ever had someone do it before (usually about a week). They were very friendly and called and texted with updates through the whole process so that I didn’t need to stress about whether I would be able to have the gift of sight while visiting my family for Xmas the next 2 weeks.

*This is the City Creek location* I literally never write reviews (this is my 2^nd in about 5 years of using Unilocal regularly), but these guys deserve it. I have a very strong glasses rx (–6.25) and correction for an astigmatism in one eye… getting new glasses is one of the most trying things I have to deal with as it is very difficult to get it right between the rx and the fitting of new frames to my face. This team of folks, especially Tyler in this last round, really went out of their way, multiple times, to get it right for me. They never gave up and never got impatient with me, despite my multiple visits to the store and despite being on a timeline to get it right with my move to Paris on the horizon. Their service is above and beyond what I normally expect from a chain store. They made a miserable task for me very tolerable and gave me hope that there is truly upstanding customer service left in this world. Thanks Tyler and friends!

This is a five-​star business. Yes, I realize that this is a chain, owned by a mega-​national-​multi-​satanic company, but this particular LensCrafters deserves praise. The staff at the City Creek Center LensCrafters is very professional. All of the individuals working there are extremely knowledgeable, and work well with customers to satisfy their needs.
I would like to add that the selection at this LensCrafters is exceptional. They have a lot of high-​end frames to choose from, with just about every designer name brand available. You might find yourself spending a pretty penny here, but you won’t be dissatisfied with the results. They usually have different discount deals available to mitigate the price of lenses or frames, so do inquire about that.
We have had several good experiences here, and will go back for our future vision needs. Nice going, LensCrafters!

I rarely review businesses, but when I come across exceptional service, I want to give a shout out. I went in for an eye exam a few weeks ago and was very pleased with my experience. There was no wait and everything is new and pristine. The staff is very professional and friendly. I submitted my contact order on 1800CONTACTS thinking this would save me some $. I received a call from Jackie at Dr Watson’s office in Lens Crafters to inform me they could beat 1800CONTACTS price if I wanted to place my order with them. I did! When I went the same day to pick up my order (I chose to pick it up instead of having them mail it to me), she had everything ready to go for me– including copies of my receipts for my mail in rebate and a pre-​addressed stamped envelope to mail in my rebate! She even gave me some free contact solution in the bag. Talk about going above and beyond! She was great and I will continue to use them for my contact needs.

purchased extended warrenty on glasses and they don’t even limit how many times I use it or even ask questions… I get new lenses all the time!
