Love Lunatic Fringe on 11^th. Stephanie Ramirez is amazing. She takes so much care and time. I bring all three of my kids here as well. She never disappoints.

Lunatic Fringe is the best hair Salon. I had the pleasure of taking my daughter to see Darlene Smith. My daughter bonded with her immediately. Darlene got it with her. This is a high end salon so working with a six year old can be tough. She treated my daughter like the princess I would expect. Darlene understood her hair, and educated my daughter and me on better ways to take care of it. At the end my daughter looked like a movie star. A business has to be measured my the people it employs. Lunatic Fringe and Darlene Smith will always have a loyal customer with me and my daughter.

Had my hair colored and the ombré ended up looking gray. My stylist told me that if I didn’t like it, to come back. I did exactly that because it really looked like grandma hair but she was kind and patient — and ended up charging me nothing to fix it. I think that with LF, it’s a hit or miss… and for me, it was a miss. I’m grateful that she took the time to fix it and that she was extremely kind about the whole thing. I just wish they would’ve gotten it right the first time.

Like most girls, I’m really skeptical about going to new salons because I obviously want the best results and if you don’t know who you’re going to and their style doesn’t fit yours it doesn’t always end up the best! I booked my appointment based off the receptionist’s recommendation, Chelsea, and I am incredibly happy I did. I wanted a «melt» to add some depth to my flat brown hair, and she went way above and beyond my expectations. I’ve had highlights done before and a lot of times it feels like they barely show up and feels like I wasted my money but Chelsea’s color turned out absolutely amazing! It’s the perfect amount of blonde in all the right places, it added so much depth to my dull hair. She was also so attentive on the cut, it seemed like she made sure every piece fell, and was cut just the right way. I hate being that girl that admits I have ended up in tears after a few cuts to new stylists, but luckily this one was the absolute opposite. Loved her work and loved the salon!

Kate Drinkwater at this salon is kind hearted, and very talented at what she does! She is very experienced, and professional. I highly recommend her to do any type of fun color or cut. Or just for a regular typical macitence needed! The salon is so trendy, and has a beautiful lather lounge where you can sit back and relax in a sound proof room that has dim lighting and spa music playing in the background. This is used during the time that they wash and massage your scalp. I love this salon! I drove all the way from south east Idaho for Kate herself and for this experience! So fun, and so helpful with complimentary snacks, and beverages. Top level experiences for top level women!

I start a new job in two days and my wedding is in less than 50 days and I hate my hair. I thought going to a «master» stylist and paying nearly $ 200 for a hair cut and color would have paid off. It didn’t. If only I could turn back time.
I came in and had a picture that showed every side and angle of the hair cut I wanted as well as another picture that showed the color. My «master» stylist didn’t do anything close to what I asked for.
My hair is impossible to do and I’m very much unhappy.

Chelsea is the best! I receive so many compliments after my hair cuts with her. She takes great care to ensure the final look is what I want and I never feel like she is rushed to get me out of the chair. She is also great at giving me tips for how to keep my hair healthy between cuts and she never overly pushes products. I would definitely recommend her to anyone looking for a stylist they can trust and a salon where they can enjoy their experience.

I am happy to say that I finally found a stylist that can work with my natural curl! I give major props to Lisandra as she has shown me to truly appreciate and love my hair! She is an asset to the salon and knows her craft well. Everyone at the salon is so friendly and welcoming; you won’t be disappointed.

Kate was my hair savior! I got a terrible butchered haircut the weekend before and was in desperate need of a fix. Kate worked wonders to make my hair look good again. She was great at listening to what I wanted and showed great initiative in giving suggestions. She made me feel like I can trust her judgement and let her do her thing without being micromanaging.
On top of that the hair wash was nice and she curled my hair for the road. I also got a brand new Paul Mitchell hair straightener at a great price. Overall an awesome salon experience. Definitely already booked my next appointment!

I’ve been seeing Lisandra for over a year now and she’s just awesome. Always super friendly, very attentive to her customers wishes but also very willing to throw out suggestions. She’s helped me move out of my comfort zone a little and I’ve always been really happy with the results. This chick pretty much rocks, and if you don’t agree with me, we can’t be friends.

If you want amazing brows, Steph is your girl. She is amazing at hair, but my eyebrows are what I am very particular about and she never disappoints. This salon is modern and clean and values continuing education.

I had a great experience today at Lunatic Fringe. The atmosphere is both upscale and relaxing. Kate’s skill with men’s hair has no parallel. I always make a point of seeing her when I’m traveling in SLC (from SFBay area). Do yourself a favor and make an appointment.

Came to this salon expecting a great haircut because of the reviews and sadly I got a haircut I could get at SuperCuts.
The girl Aspen seemed out of it and didn’t care much. I asked her to do a fade on my sides and I don’t even know what she did. It took her 25 minutes just to do my sides using different razors and scissors and now it just looks messy with spots longer than others.
The top looks all sorts of weird and I don’t even know what she did.
I paid $ 40 for a «second level» stylist and got a haircut worthy of $ 7. I’m REALLY upset.
Lunatic Fringe may be a good salon, but I suggest avoiding this girl. Or maybe go on a day when she’s awake.
I won’t be returning and I wish I could just get my money back!

Had a great first-​time appointment today with Kate, which is saying something because I am rarely satisfied with my hair cuts/​colors. The salon is modern and upscale, and even the view out my window was lovely.
When having my hair colored (blonde weave with high and low lights), I am always really particular about the color getting as close to my scalp as possible. With so many baby hairs around my hairline it’s always a tricky feat, but Kate did great. I’m also really pleased with the hues she put in and the way she talked me through it. She also assured me at the end that if I have any little issues where I need a foil here or a fix there that she’ll be happy to take care of it at no cost. That’s so reassuring when someone takes the time to make sure you know that. A lot of times it is (or I think it is) just implied, but I don’t really know and don’t want to make a fuss, so I just live with my hair until the next appointment.
So, it was a great experience. I even rescheduled!

Well first off, I have been to so many stylists and no one has been able to achieve what I had been looking for. I wanted a beautiful, healthy blonde. I went to several different stylists, even celebrity hairstylists and none could achieve it. The processes left my hair majorly damaged. My hair was breaking off, my roots were major in contrast from the brown to the blonde. I scheduled an appointment with Danielle and she is amazing. Not only is she super sweet but she knows what she is doing. She highlighted my hair so beautifully, she cut the layers so it’s bouncy and has movement and she deep conditioned my hair and I haven’t seen it this shiny and healthy in a long time. The whole process was pricy, but it is so worth it and I will definitely be going back for touch ups.

I have never been anything but impressed by Lunatic Fringe. The staff is great and the space is awesome.
Mario is my stylist, and I don’t ever want to have to find another. My hair always looks amazing, and I get compliments for weeks! Highly recommend!

Chelsea is very friendly, attentive, and knowledgable. She took the time to understand what I wanted and made great suggestions when asked. I was super nervous to get my hair cut because I was cutting off about 8 inches. She assured me that it would look great and that she would cut it in steps so I could stop her if I felt like I didn’t want to go any shorter. After talking to her, I was so excited to have short hair! I have never left a salon loving my hair as much as I do now. I would definitely recommend Chelsea to anyone and everyone.

This salon is so cute and everyone there is so friendly. I’m the kind of girl that rarely trusts anyone with my hair. Thankfully, Stephanie colored and cut my hair. I love that she’s so attentive to detail and honestly wants you walking out of the salon feeling amazing and your hair staying as healthy as possible (huge deal to me).
Im so happy I got my hair done with her at this salon because they carry such amazing products.

I just moved here last month, so the stress of finding a new salon was on me. I have very thick Hispanic hair, and traditionally have trouble finding someone to cut my hair well without going nuts with thinning shears, or awkwardly adding millions of layers. I specifically requested an upper level stylist, knowing I would pay «more». For my visit, I was placed with Mario. He was absolutely amazing. He was focused, personable, kind, and genuinely interested in what I was looking for.
I do think I paid a very reasonable price for a fantastic cut. My husband was thrilled — and has never happened before. I will be back. I have family pictures in a couple weeks, and I’m thinking about going in for a blow out just so I have that extra edge for our photos. For reference, I paid $ 55 for my cut, and it was worth every penny. You can pay less if you go with a less experienced stylist, but I didn’t want to take any chances! This place has super high expectations for their staff, which I very much appreciate.
