Yummy yummy burgers. Cute tiny patio, live music Thursday’s. Serious diamond in the rough neighborhood gem.

My wife and I had a coupon card for this place. Little did we know that the actual place that signed up for the coupon gig sold the business, and there was a new owner. We had the pleasure of meeting him and he was a very nice man. They accepted the coupon card(gave $ 10 off a menu item when we bought two entrees). That was already a plus in my book. I ordered the BBQ brisket and I was not disappointed. I had the choice of two sides and I picked fries and salad. I ordered the lime basil vinaigrette dressing for the salad and it was absolutely superb. The brisket was out of this world. My wife ordered the turkey sandwich and loved that as well. I ordered the brownie plate for dessert. It came with three small brownies, of different kinds, and a sliced strawberry with some dip. Yummy! If I had one complaint it would be that the fries had too much salt on them. I ordered fry sauce with my fries though and it wasn’t a run of the mill fry sauce. They have live music on Thursday, Friday and Saturday that begins at 8 p.m. We were a little early so we missed out on that. We told the owner we’d be back, probably in a few months because we live quite a ways away. I think we’d absolutely go back sooner if I found out they made pumpkin cheesecake for dessert. I think we still will anyway. Highly recommended!

Seriously, come in for the dry rub ribs… You will not be disappointed! Best ribs I’ve had in a LONG time! My friend got the burger with Mac and cheese… It was a monster and he loved it! Note to owner… Try to get one or two girly drinks that you can add to your menu. Girls like Blues and BBQ too. ;) –And girls attract boys –Lesson learned from Bar Rescue. Lol!

First time visited last night. Got there late, around 10:30 with two starving kids(is kid friendly.). Had an acoustic duo playing that was really nice. Everyone loaded up on BBQ, while I had the Cuban sandwich. The Mac and Cheese and baked beans were both very good(beans probably a little better.). Brisket was very good, pulled pork maybe not quite as good. To be fair, was late, and I am sure we closed up kitchen. Cuban sandwich was excellent; big size, well-developed airs and crispy fries. Server and manager very friendly. Under new ownership, management and a new menu. If you haven’t been in a while, give it a try.

Came on a Friday night to check out the place under new management and was not disappointed! We were pleasantly surprised at the very moderate menu pricing. They had a few service issues but came by the table to acknowledge them and asked for patience. We are going again this Saturday, August 1, 2015 for three distinct reasons: 1. The absolute BEST ribs I’ve had outside of Texas. 2. The ambience of this place on the weekend with live music feels to me like being on vacation… a great place to let your hair down, relax, and enjoy yourself. 3. Now that they’ve been open for several weeks, we expect the service/staffing issues to have improved. Will report back then! Update: This was our second visit… we went back for their awesome ribs. We arrived around 9:00 p.m. and found there had been a run on ribs, so apparently we weren’t the only ones looking forward to them! We ordered a combo plate of brisket and pulled pork with mac and cheese and baked beans. We found the meats wonderfully moist, well trimmed, generously portioned and very flavorful. We enjoyed the attentive service and the upbeat environment that the staff created. The live music was great… we will definitely go back and bring friends!

We always root for local restaurants, but when you have a bad enough experience to never want to go back to a place you have to warn others so they don’t throw away their money like we did at the new Millcreek Pub. When we arrived there was no one to seat us. We yelled hello several times, and after about five minutes we ended up walking to the kitchen to find someone to seat us. We ordered our food quickly: a burger and a salad. We waited over half an hour for our food to come. What made the wait(and our entire meal) worse were the dozens of flies in the restaurant. It was pretty unbearable. Our food finally came and the disappointment continued. Our salad was basically a soggy arugula mess with barely a sprinkling of toppings. The burger was dry as a bone with no flavor. More than half the fries that came with the burger were burnt to a crisp and inedible. They even messed up our bill and we ended up having to pay a very large tip because they couldn’t fix it after they swiped our card. We are never going back and are looking forward to something taking it’s place very soon.
