Food: Awesome. Try the Old Bridge Platter. Service: Excellent. Extra credit: SUPER clean bathrooms! Bummer: no alcohol. But you can BYOB. It’s difficult and expensive to get a liquor license in Utah. That can be tough on a small business.

What a lucky find! My sister and I had a great lunch there. We split the cevapi and dolma plates. Delicious! Great service.

Tonight was our first time but it won’t be our last! We ordered the Old Bridge Platter and the Multi-Layered Delight Cake and both were fantastic! Every bite was wonderful. The owner/chef/server was fantastic. Friendly, awesome service to match the great food. Can’t wait to go back to try the rest of the menu!

Awesome Bosnian restaurant. These guys work hard. The owner was running the whole place and seemed to be keeping up well. All our food was excellent. We got the two platters to try a variety. Our kids are picky eaters and they all said they wanted to come back. This is an excellent example of why the US should be letting in more immigrants. They work hard and bring their awesome foods with them. They make our country more awesome. We’ll be back.

Wonderful, unassuming place serving Bosnian food at a good price. Spinach pie just like my childhood friend’s grandma used to make, and the sarna(stuffed cabbage leaves) were perfect for a chilly November day. The owner was friendly and welcoming, too. I’ll definitely be back!

Fantastic meal! I have never had Bosnian food before but it was a treat. Not too expensive and the owner treated us like we were old friends. Must try!

Just stumbled upon this place serendipitously. I didn’t know eggs could be so delectable. Generous portions and authentic décor made me feel at home in Bosnia, though I haven’t been there haha.

When we pulled in, there were a group of men sitting outside which reminded me of the quaint movies of the owners socializing with the locals– that’s exactly what it is. The owner walked in and then greeted us. The place is small but extremely clean. The artwork alone is absolutely phenomenal. We mentioned the murals and we were given the book that they were painted out of. We did not know what to except, we had never tried Bosnian food before. We played it fairly safe both ordering egg dishes. The cevapi is the Bosnian version of sausage– well worth it. The eggs were served with kajmak, a cheese like spread that is very mild and a red sauce that tasted like it was made will red bell peppers. At first it was a bit odd, seemed like a strange combo of onions, cheese, sauce and bread served with the eggs. Mix them together and you get different levels of flavor profiles. A very pleasant surprise on a Saturday, definitely will go again… and again… and again.

Food was delicious. The beef sandwiches reminded me of a Pita. The bread and vegetables were fresh. Also, tried the Turkish coffee, which was delicious. The best part was the Turkish delight, which I had never really liked until I tried it there. The man who served our food was very nice, though his English wasn’t very fluid, however, i thinks this adds the experience. I will definitely be returning in the future.

I’ve only been here once so far but I keep talking about how I can’t wait to go again. The food was comforting and homey. Good for the soul. We got the old bridge platter & everything on it was filling and delicious. It’s so much food. My favorite were the dolmas and stuffed cabbage but it’s hard to pick. The Turkish coffee and Turkish delight were my first experience with Turkish coffee, but I’m a big fan. What a fun dining experience here!

Loved Old Bridge Café! Authentic Bosnian food with a great atmosphere. We love hearing people speak Bosnian while we’re there, and our daughter is so happy to find Cevapi that tastes like it did in Bosnia. The café is named after the bridge/city the owner is from, and the mural makes us feel like we’re back in that city(Mostar). Highly recommend it if you’re looking for great food.

This was our first time trying Bosnian food and it was wonderful. The restaurant is really clean, good service and it had beautiful landscape paintings on the walls. The owner was extremely attentive and very nice. We didn’t feel rushed and enjoyed our meal. I had the goulash and loved it. The bread that accompanies the goulash is amazing. It is crispy but soft in the middle. So yummy! I would highly recommend that if your in the area to stop by!

Great little space for some«homemade» Bosnian food. The owner is a really nice guy and does almost everything himself. Pretty impressive. I started with a cappuccino since I felt I needed a little pick-me-up. I asked the owner what he recommended since I’m not that familiar with Bosnian food. I am familiar with some of the foods in that region like goulash to spanakopita. Which in this case I tried both. He recommended the goulash so I went for it. I was pretty tasty. Think nice beef stew. Great flavor. It was perfect for a cold rainy/snowy afternoon. I love spanakopita when done right. This one, although very good, had filo dough that was a little soggy. I believe it was because it might have been nuked. That was a bummer. One of the best thinks about spanakopita is that flaky filo crust. I know it’s tough to make spanakopita to order but a little bit of time in a toaster oven would have helped greatly. It could have been because the owner was slightly distracted with a fellow Bosnian guest talking to him pretty much the whole time. I definitely want to try it again and see what the other food is like. It’s worth a try for sure. It’s basically next door to the Century 16 theater on 33rd south and State street. So great before or after a movie.

My first run-in with this came when I was looking for the Old City Bakery, though it had closed by then and turned into a Mexican-ish joint… I think. From there, I put this place on a back, back burner as in one of those things I meant to get to at some point, largely because of the reviews. Truth be told, I tend to find nearly all foods from that region, speaking of Eastern Europe, to be rather bland and heavy. While I hadn’t run into specifically Bosnian food before, I had definitely come across Russian, Romanian, Polish and Czech enough to know that precious little of it was either done in a manner I considered well or especially suited to my palate. My expectations weren’t great, still, there is no point in going out and spending money if one doesn’t have an open mind… I walked in to a group of people hanging out quite casually, almost as if I had wandered into someone’s living room. After finding a seat, I looked down to find they had very cleverly integrated the restaurant logo and the menu into the tabletop itself with laminated graphics. Now, granted, this only works if you have someone of a minimal menu, but that’s what they offer here, so it was fine. I like this and the overall décor of the place, which features some very cool and intricate artwork, all of which fits into the theme behind the name of the place. It is also exceedingly clean inside. All good there. Place is also very small, though. But I don’t go somewhere for décor and after looking at the menu and the late hour, decided to play it light and go for a small order of the Ćevapi and a baklava. For the money, the baklava piece was huge and this place decided to go more in for toppings rather than Filo dough. This consequently made it notably wetter, however. All in all, this was an ok version, but nothing I’d care to repeat. Drinks are a downfall here and they don’t offer much in the way of sugar-free nor do they have black tea. As to that Ćevapi, I did have my hopes up here, but they seemed to me slightly undercooked. Flavor was also a bit on the(predictably) bland side of things, as was the bread that came with it, which was a sort of pita by way of Utah scone. It too was on the bland side. The Kaymak reminded me a lot of cream cheese, but did compliment well, along with the tomatoes. Having raw tomatoes with ajvar was a bit much, though and I wound up sticking just with the tomatoes. Even though, this was a small version of this, I was overall well-sated by the time I left, which was a good thing as this place is not cheap. Service was rather standoff-ish, but still somewhat attentive. While this won’t be a regular stop, it is a very nice change of pace, which is where it’s most suitable, given the price. I may drop back by to try the kebabs, the other thing that looked most interesting, but it seems unlikely Ćevapi will be on my radar here again.

My first time trying Bosnian food. Shared a Ćevapi plate and it was enough for 2 people. Would definitely try Bosnian food again.
