Park N Jet

Waited 25 minutes at the airport door AFTER I called twice for pickup. The cashier told me the driver just took his time leaving the lot before coming to get us. It just reinforced why I don’t usually use Park n Jet. There are other more customer service oriented airport parking lots to choose from. I won’t be using Park n Jet again.

Park N Jet is the closest «off property» parking you can find for the Salt Lake airport and that gives it a step up for me. The folks in the booth are nice and the shuttle drivers know how to apply a lead foot to get you to the terminals in a jiffy.
Truck owners should request to park in «truck land» which puts you on the outside perimeter of the lot toward the southwest. The stalls are a little more manageable for a pickup and since just about everyone else out there is in a truck, you are surrounded by people that can a.) park one and b.) not hit yours while they park theirs.
There are only two things that don’t exactly inflate my tires about PnJ. First is it feels like they are pandering for tips on the shuttle bus. Reminder signs about tipping, tip cups, etc. I am paying a premium to park off site so pay your drivers. The second is it seems it takes longer to get picked up from the airport than from the competition. I will have 2 – 3 of the other guys’ buses pass me while I am waiting for Park N Jet.

Terrible service. Over promising and u der delivery every time o use them. I keep trying to give them a chance. But they continue is to disappoint to the point that I am motivated to write a review.

Called them when I had my bags and they were there to pick us up right away. The shuttle feels a little rickety and I don’t like feeling obligated to tip the driver, but other than that it was definitely cheaper than parking at the airport.

We’ve parked at Park n jet on and off for years and it has gone up and down — tonight was a big down
They told us it would 7 min for a shuttle to arrive, after 15 min one came, we were one of the first groups to arrive at door 10 yet when the shuttle went to drop off at terminal one — everyone around rushed there — we went too but not before businessmen went in front of us, and the driver told us only my children and I could get on, not my husband — what would we do? Wait in the rain for him?
We had an interior wash done so had to have them get our keys — they put the wrong row on the paperwork and essentially ‘lost’ our car — 2^nd time this has happened to me — think I would learn — now I have — planning on parking at the airport next go round

My experience with them was so awful, I am creating a Unilocal account just to let everyone know not to have their vehicle detailed here. I was delighted to hear about their «Professional Detail Service.» I could park here when I fly and come back to a professionally detailed truck.
…Nope, not the case. I paid Professional Detail prices to have a top of the line car wash basically. They do not hand wax and like they advertise and like my paperwork says. They use some type of spray on wax system. A real professional detail involves the hand application of wax and buffing.
Wheels were not polished. Tires not shined. Overall the interior was pretty good but still some dirt spots could still be found. Water spots and bugs left on the exterior. If this was just a detail done by a guy who’s heart wasn’t quite in it, that’d be one thing. But this wasn’t even a detail. It was a car wash and interior wipe down/​vacuum.
I had several phone conversations with Tonya, the manager, and the best she would do is refund me 30 $ which is less than 20%.
and PS… it is just as expensive and takes longer to park here than it does at the airport.

I thought long term parking for SL international couldn’t get any worse than the Diamond lot (s)?!
I was wrong. Really wrong!
I had a coupon for Park ‘n Jet, & decided to give them a try.
I’d read the horror stories others had told about trying to use their coupons, & being rebuffed. So, I made it very clear, when I arrived, that I had a coupon!
I was directed to park in area «6 or 7». Which I did.
My initial impression of the lot was that it was really run-​down. The asphalt is crumbling to pieces, in many areas. And the shuttle-​buses are pretty junky.
But, at least I got to the airport in a timely manner…
Upon my arrival back in SLC, however, my experience w/​Park ‘n Jet was nothing short of abysmal!
I called for a pickup & was told to wait @ door 10, & that the shuttle would be there in 5 minutes.
30 minutes later…
The ever-​increasing group of people waiting for Park ‘n Jet were on the verge of rioting! One shuttle had passed us by, with the promise that another shuttle was «right behind him».
Only, that wasn’t the truth.
I called Park ‘n Jet’s pickup office again, & received the same «line»! ie– someone’ll be there shortly.
After 40 minutes of waiting, I finally managed to get on a shuttle! I felt really sorry for the large group of people left waiting on the curb! Because, at that point so many people were waiting for Park ‘n Jet, that one measly shuttle couldn’t possibly accommodate all of them!
The tension on our shuttle was palpable. Our driver tried to diffuse it, by telling jokes, & was mildly successful. I guess you do the best you can, with a bus full of angry people?!
The woman sitting next to me, on the shuttle kept saying that she was a regular Park ‘n Jet customer, & that she’d never seen it so bad?!
My experience was so awful, that there is no way I’m giving Park ‘n Jet a second chance!
Icing on the cake: the line to leave the lot was long. And when we finally made it to the cashier we were hassled about our coupon!
Long Term Parking at the actual airport: here I come!

They had great cars for a great price! But finding the parking lot to return the car after hours was RIDICULOUS.

Decent parking lot near the SLC airport, but several things that annoy me. First, the sign on the bus that says «our drivers work primarily on tips, your patronage is greatly appreciated.» If I have to pay for parking, why can’t they pay their bus drivers enough so I don’t have to? I hate feeling obligated to tip. Also, i parked in the $ 7/​day «economy» lot, and was charged a $ 1.75/day airport fee that they don’t tell you about ahead of time. It’s cheaper to park right at the airport and not have to bother with tipping any drivers.
It is nice that they offer to wash your car for you while you’re gone, but that is pretty expensive too.
My wife likes parking here so I’ll probably be back, but I’d prefer to park right at the airport.

NEVER AGAIN!!! What a rip off. Usually use Diamond, but I thought I’d give them a try. They advertise $ 7/​day, but get you with the taxes, making it more than the airport’s long term. Free car wash? Ha. «OUT OF ORDER.» The guy at check out was not apologetic at all, said «It’s good anytime.» Well if I lived near the airport, I probably wouldn’t be using the lot.
Diamond has a flat rate as advertised, no hidden fees. And the car wash has always worked. I’ll bet Park N Jet doesn’t get much repeat business. Definitely not mine.

This place sucks. They reel you in with cheaper advertised rates and then screw you when you leave after a week. They tell you oh you parked in the wrong aisle. That was the more expensive aisle. You should have parked in the back. Bull crap, what I really should have done is parked at the airport long term for a lot less money

This place actually ends up being more expensive than parking at the SLC airport long-​term parking. They advertise the lowest rate for «Economy» parking at $ 7/​day. I thought that’s decent, since the Airport charges $ 9/​day. But unless you read the fine print, you’ll be surprised by a $ 1.75/day airport excise tax when you check out. That nearly evens the price out with the airport parking. But in addition to the airport tax, you are expected to tip the shuttle driver both going to the airport and returning from the airport; they actually have signs in the shuttle instructing everyone to tip the drivers. The airport parking bus drivers do not depend on or expect tips. I think these issues clearly tip the balance in favor of just parking at the airport.

I use their service all of the time and it’s much better than the standard airport option.

I just have to write a quick review about Park N Jet. First understand that I travel nearly every week of the year, I leave out on Sunday mornings and return home late Friday nights I started parking here three years ago and the only bad thing I could say is that the reward program is not the best. What I can say GREAT about it here is that Wendy who works on Sunday mornings and Cindy who works graves on Friday have always greated me with a smile! Every week they see my car pull in and they make me feel like they actually are happy to see me, and trust me when you travel as much as I do a happy face is the most important thing in the world. I have never had a problem here with that lot, or the people and the drivers are great, Mike A even knows my car and remembers sometimes better then I do where I am parked.
I just wanted to throw out a plug here to let everyone know that if you are going to be gone for a while do yourself a favor and park here, it is a great start to a vacation or a business trip!

I recently bought a Google Offer for Park N’ Jet. The offer was $ 12 for 3 days of standard parking. I normally use long term parking at the airport, but this deal looked too good to pass up.
Dropping off the car wasn’t a problem. I let the gate attendant know that I had the Google Offer voucher on my phone, and she said «just show it to us at checkout».
I return home from my trip a few days later. I get in my car, pull up to the gate, and show the parking lot attendant my coupon.
She replies, «We can’t accept the phone voucher, you must print it out.» Apparently, she didn’t have the bar code scanner she needed to accept the phone voucher (not my problem).
I said, «that’s not true, every Google Offer can be redeemed with your phone». There was nothing in the terms about printing the voucher.
She insisted that I pay $ 40, and would not honor my voucher, which I had already paid for.
I said, «You’re making a big mistake, this isn’t right. You guys can sort this out later, just take the coupon, and let me drive out of here.»
She replied «If you drive out of here without paying, I’ll call the cops, and have you arrested for theft.»
At this point I was FLOORED. You’re going to have me arrested for theft, when you’re the one who scammed me?
I let her know I would be talking about their company on every review site I can find. I also let her know I would be filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. She just shrugged her shoulders, and gave me a look of apathy…
This is by far the worst experience I’ve had with any company. I wish I would have read the Unilocal reviews before buying this Google Offer.

I have the same feelings as the previous reviewer. Park N Jet used to be a very good and convenient service but over the years they have scaled back their rewards programs more and more to the point where they have stopped honoring the older reward punch cards. I’ve tried to email the management to complain about this, but got no response. You used to get airline miles just for parking their each visit, then it went to a punch system where you would have to earn your air miles by parking there multiple times (12 visits), then the rewards card when to 36 visits. Clearly you are getting less and less for your business.
It seems like Park N Jet does not care about their customers like they used to. I am going to bring my business over to Diamond from now on.

Love the convenience of this place! I can always find a good parking spot and by the time I turn the car off and get out, there is a shuttle right there to pick me up! It is just as nice when they drop you off! It is $ 1 cheaper than the long term parking and so much more convenient. They will even wash or detail your car while you are gone. I haven’t tried this option yet but it sounds like a good deal.
